  1. Welcome to LOC B) looking forward to the ICE build pics.
  2. Put some pics up of your rad and resevoir, we can compare them to ours. Can't see the rad making any difference as long as it is doing the job of cooling everything.
  3. When I had my mk2 GS300 Sport on ebay, someone bought it with the buy it now, never even got any emails or replies. There are plenty of tossers scouring the bay.
  4. As far as I know, the SC430 uses the same radiator, and they come up on eBay :)
  5. No idea if the looms are there or not, but don't recall them in my '99 GS300 when I had most stuff out putting aftermarket stuff in (it was non Nav car). Also not sure if the wiring is the same for the climate control (it is all built into the satnav touch screen and surround). I want to go the opposite way in my GS430, and take out the Nav, but not found a non Nav climate control panel cheap enough to try the swap around. Also don't forget you need the gps unit as well as the DVD unit and head unit.
  6. Welcome to LOC and great choice of car B) Anymore details on the NOS setup?
  7. Is Andy's discount only applicable to goldies? I thought it was across the board on the forum
  8. Ditto that. Toyota should definately balance them if they are removing the tyres, if they don't, complain until they do it. It would be really bad of them not to do it straight off as part of the refurb.
  9. I've got mk1 Sport wheels on my mk2 GS430 with the 10" rears, fit no probs at all. Light silver set with summer tyres, anthracite set with winter tyres.
  10. Thanks. where did you get the radius arms from ? I can't find them anywhere... Lexus Yes they have them @ £200 + each I think... Yeah, something like that. Unfortunately, urgency over cost was the order of the day when I had to buy them
  11. Thanks. where did you get the radius arms from ? I can't find them anywhere... Lexus
  12. ON my old mk1 GS, the old shield was completely shot so I just cut it up to get it off. The replacement, i cut a slot, so that it could be bent open to go around and then closed up again. Worked fine.
  13. No mate, I wouldn't think scrapping is required. No idea how easy the bush is to remove, I had bough new radius arms as I needed the car back ASAP. The bolts were rusted solid into the bush sleeves on mine, so took some work to get them off. As for price, it was all rolled up in a head gasket job but I think the price was around 2 or 3 hours labour in the end. Having said that, they were a bunch of cowboys that had the car.
  14. If by radius arm, you mean the ones that bolt to the bottom arm and go toward the rear of the car at approx 45 degrees, it can be a bitch of a job. The front subframe has to be dropped as the bolts go in from the top. Which means supporting the engine etc as the subframe is undone and lowered. If the bolts are rusted into the bushes, they have to be heated and cut, as obviously they can't just be pulled out the bottom.
