  1. I’d clear the codes and see, nothing lost if they do come back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  2. Shame about the mk1, same colour as my old mk1 Sport. Not many about any more, and not seen one that colour for sale for many years Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  3. I can only assume that list is not all that in-depth. According to the years, they are only showing one MK1 in red. It was a bit of a lottery on the registration document for the mk1 Sports, as there was technically no such thing, them being “modified” by the dealers once on uk soil. I think it just depended what the dealer put on when they registered them, so many only had GS300 on the document. Mine was a red one, and do get quite tempted by a mk1 even now. I’ve still got a set of MK1 sport wheels in the garage, with the 10” rears, so I could take a non-sport and lower it with my own set of wheels if temptation got the better of me. 4. I’d check the anti roll bar bushes, and drop links. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  5. What were the codes shown for the EML being on Ian? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  7. Yeah, that domain name is dead now. I’ll redo a link to my current domain tomorrow if that works for you. I need to do the same with all my tutorials, as the photos don’t work anymore. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  8. That’s what I would’ve thought too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  9. There is a lot of theorising in the comments to be fair. Unless that add said “original tyres” why would you assume it has them. Someone who does that few miles per year is unlikely to brim the tank 4 times a year, more likely a tenners worth every couple of weeks. Perished pipes would be picked up on services. Has it been serviced, has it not. Cars of 30/40 years ago had many more time related issues than modern cars, materials have come a long way. I theorise as well, but the point is, you will only know the “actual” answers to any of these bad points if you’ve actually been to see it, and asked all the questions. I wouldn’t pay a premium for low miles, but I wouldn’t count one out just because of what “could” be wrong with it. Same as I wouldn’t count out high miles, 100k was considered shot 30 years ago, it’s just run in nowadays. For context, I have a 1994 Corrado VR6, which I on average do 250-500 miles per year in. I’ve owned it for 8.5 years, and have changed perished tyres if needed, never had any fuel go off, not had any rubber or seal issues, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  14. There are quite a lot of forum members with code readers who may be able help at least get the fault codes. Where are you located? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  15. Part numbers are different between mk1 and mk2 GS's Mk1 47721 MOUNTING, FRONT DISC BRAKE CYLINDER, RH 47721-30132 (02/1994 - 07/1995) 1 € 122.18 47721-30180 (08/1995 - 07/1997) 1 € 138.41 47722 MOUNTING, FRONT DISC BRAKE CYLINDER, LH 47722-30052 (02/1994 - 07/1995) 1 € 122.18 47722-30100 (08/1995 - 07/1997) 1 € 138.41 Mk2 47721 MOUNTING, FRONT DISC BRAKE CYLINDER, RH 47721-30220 1 € 182.64 47722 MOUNTING, FRONT DISC BRAKE CYLINDER, LH 47722-30120 1 € 182.64 Sub and main slide pins are common for late mk1 and mk2, looks like some variations on early mk1's 93-95. Although cross referencing the 95-97 mk1 part numbers shows them as also available on the mk2. Weird. So there can't be much difference. I can only assume the later ones, using the common pins, are compatible.

  22. Yeah, agree, I find it therapeutic too. Did the wash and wax of the Merc and Mini yesterday, and the same treatment for the Corrado today. Also did an engine bay detail on the Merc, and all the black trim on the Mini got blackened back up again.
  23. What condition are they? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  24. Pics look fine to me. Like I say, I thought the rear tint looked great on my old gs300 (mine were limo black which looks like it was darker than what you went for, but still looks great) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  25. looks decent. I'm a fan of the rear tint, I used to have it on my old gen 2 GS300 Sport.
