    Nothing to the Lexus. On the Corrado, changed the halogen headlamp H4 bulbs to LED bulbs, and swapped out the sidelight bulbs to match. Look great and perform very well, so quite impressed with these LED headlamp bulbs. Just remains to be seen how they are for reliability. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC

    isn't it a bit obvious that the DVLA one is clearly an error and they put one too many zeros in.

    The set I got for my Gen 2 said on the box gen 3. When they checked the part numbers they reconned they were the same for both. I'm not convinced they are a perfect match on the rubber feet contours, but they fit fine and are rock solid when tightened up.

    They aren't coded to the car. The only issue is if someone has set the security code. It is user defined, not a set value. If it has been set, "SEC" will briefly show on the display when powered up. Best to check that before disconnecting in the donor car. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC

    If the lambda is cream crackered already, disconnect the plug and chop the wires off so you can use a ring spanner or standard socket. You only need to worry about the wires if you need to reuse it or are putting the new one back in :) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC

    Ive used the aero style ones on my GS for years. Work great. I also use rainex on the screen, so during average rain showers, the wipers barely get used anyway which helps prolong the life that bit further. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC

    I've had the same problems finding the right one for my satnav GS430. I think due to the fact the drivers door speaker is controlled from the boot where the satnav unit is located (for routing the voice commands to the door speaker). I'm planning to ditch the satnav and put my double din head unit in instead. So I'll make my own cables like I did for my previous GS300's. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC

    I wouldn't have thought so but you could drop to 215 40 18 if you want to keep the stagger. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=300963387150 are "Tuner" style.     Omega, I totally agree regarding its not about the money, to be different, for the hell of it, that kind of thing, hence why I fancy turboing mine. What I'm not quite getting is why a Lexus GS v8? It's not anything different, Lexus already did it from the factory, so don't quite see what it is proving with all that hard work to do it to a GS300.     By the time you buy the V8 lump and ancillaries, it would probably still be cheaper to sell your GS300 and buy a GS430. The V8 is awesome in the GS B) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
