  1. Welcome to LOC B) Good choice, the GS is a great car Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  2. As has been said, no grease should be applied. Once the new bushes are on, noises will stop. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  3. As above, I've not heard of any of this as a common issue. Can you link to some of the others who have the same, so I can read some of symptoms there too? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  4. What are the offsets for the wheels you have or are thinking of? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC

  6. what fault codes are showing on it? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  7. Yeah, that's the problem these days, nothing is cheap. I think it took a year and a half before one came up at a price I was happy to pay (especially as at the time I wasn't sure it would just plug in and work) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  8. Keep an eye on eBay mate, that's where I got mine eventually, £20 I think it was with free shipping, as I'm planning the exact same thing as you. I already have the head unit and brackets, just need to find the right cable kit for the Nav model. Tested the control panel in the car without the nav unit in and everything works as it should. 9. Lol... What a stroke of luck Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  10. Yeah, might pop in and have a chat (although not Lexus probably, only Toyota in Basingstoke). Unless they have back stock though, I doubt there'll be any joy from the TTE avenue. Not interested in the springs/shocks, but would be keen on the arb . Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  11. Hmm... The link says they were supplied by the Motorsport division, would that be TTE or TRD? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  12. I can't find any part numbers for updated shocks and arb, do you know what the numbers are? Or who made them? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  13. Haha, yeah, it would've been. It was actually a family member that was at the show, not me :) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  14. I use the other gear selections quite often. Mostly to put myself in gear ready for the overtake move or whatever, rather than wait for the kick down to happen. Also on steep declines it can help maintain a better speed without dabbing the brakes all the time. To use the wheel buttons, you need to put the stick in the "M" position. 18. Checking the sensors should be easy enough to confirm they are at least in range for resistance. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  19. Dan seems to be a man of few words :) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  20. I'm assuming as a follow on from previous post about missing connector by horn (you asked for a picture Steve) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  21. Not entirely sure about the feature differences to be honest. As I understand it, early "Sports" didn't have lowered suspension at all, where as the later ones did (something to do with the "Sport" model being dropped but then officially taken back up in 2003). I'm not aware of uprated shocks though, just that the springs were lower (25mm all round). Never heard of the uprated arb. I'm also not sure if there was ever a "factory" sport so to speak (i.e. went on the boat in Japan as a Sport), only that they were a dealer fit (once off the boat). Whilst I know that to be the case for sure with the mk1, not entirely sure of that for the mk2. Part numbers seem different from 2001 and 2003 for shocks and springs, but that doesn't seem to be related to the "Sport" models, just the 430 in general. No difference in arb part numbers between years. Mine is lowered on GMax springs anyway.
  22. Nothing especially common other than the usual Lexus brake calliper/slide pin issues. I did replace my arb bushes which clunked at low speeds. There is a link in my signature block to a "how to" guide I did for changing them. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  23. A bit farther afield than your list, and an older car, but if your around the Surrey/Hampshire border or M3 corridor any time, I'm happy to show you around my 2001 Sport in Basingstoke. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  24. Good result B) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
