  1. I've got gmax springs on my GS430 Sport. No issues with them at all, not harsh, and not too soft.
  2. They come up reasonably regular on eBay, but not cheap. There is a set on there at £695 at the moment. I had 3 sets, and sold one set last year.
  3. There are 4 fuses that look like they could influence the fan, 50A Heater 10A Heater 5A ECU-B2 15A Radio No 2 The 50A heater fuse is the one that directly feeds the blower via the Heater Relay. The 10A heater fuse being the supply to energise the Heater Relay.
  4. Yeah, that is the oem Lexus spoiler. Same as mine. what wheels are these? they are mk1 GS300 Sport wheels, refurbished in anthracite. The winter tyres are on refurbished silver sparkle colour.
  5. I'm slightly confused by the original question to be honest. Are you saying you have them on already without spacers, and want to know if the spacers will take them too far? Or you want to know if the wheels without spacers will foul the arches? If you already have them without spacers, a tape measure will give the answer to how much scope for going out further you've got.
  6. I wouldn't expect a wheel bearing to produce wobble unless it is literally disintegrating. It would rumble, but not wobble. More likely to be tyres or sticky calipers/slidepins on the brakes.
  7. Other than putting a cleaning disc through it, I can't think of anything else specific. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  8. Yeah, if they were going to come back on, they would as soon as you move off. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  9. Love SD1's, I've had five V8 ones in the past, including a Vitesse, which was awesome. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  10. I can only assume as the 430 only started in October 2000 (probably not that many around from 2000), there wouldn't have been any changes before hitting 2001
  11. Looks good. Some pics of the turbo install would be cool though Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  12. I've been contemplating somethings similar as a project car myself. Won't be a complete stroll in the park, but worth it none the less. For me personally, the 2j route isn't "special" enough for all the effort, it is just turning a gs300 (a rebadged aristo) into an aristo, which came in that guise. i.e. It is easier to buy an Aristo and put the gs300 sport bits on it to get the same overall result. Having said that, more tuning options on the 2j. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  13. What car have you got left Dave? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  14. Looking at various pictures of the housing, they both look like they should work, the lugged one just looks like goes further over to reach the lugs, but both should work. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  15. I've got aftermarket LED clusters on my GS and think they are great. Although I've still got halogen indicator bulbs in mine, as I couldn't actually find bulbs that have a light coverage/pattern I liked (I just used the chromed bulbs so there wasn't the orange bulb showing as a temporary measure). If you find some good orange LED bulbs, do let me know :) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  16. Look good :) Are there no led indicator bulbs available that have the necessary resistors built in to just be a direct swap? Saves locating the flasher unit then. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  17. Nowt wrong with wanting to do something with the IS. I'm up for spending money on my GS430 if I could actually find someone who could do something. If I could get a decent gain for only £3.5k, I'd be in there like a shot. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  18. welcome to LOC B)Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  19. Just keep in mind that when he mentions the 1jz is200, that not a standard is200 engine. The is200 1G-FE engine internals are not that strong, so you wouldn't want to go too high, 240 is probably at the limits for reliability for stock internals. If he doesn't mention that, I would be very cautious. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  20. Welcome to LOC B) Good choice, the GS is a great car Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  21. As has been said, no grease should be applied. Once the new bushes are on, noises will stop. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
