  1. welcome to LOC B) I'm Hampshire too, Basingstoke. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  2. I can see it ok... http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?/topic/108051-Reluctant-sale-2005-GS430 Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  3. Off the top of my head I'd say it is probably in the drivers footwell fuse box. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  4. But still better than the normal tyre setup B) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  5. Good news :) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  6. I've got a set of winter wheels/tyres for my GS (245 fronts and 275 rears) due to having to abandon the car at the bottom of the hill when we do get snow. It may not happen often, but piece of mind did not like leaving the car down random side streets :( Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  7. Cool, good result. At least you know what they need to do (disable the lock on the push button), so should be easy enough. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  8. Haha, fair enough. Shouldn't be too complicated though, even if it is just to get the push button popped back up (unlocked) :) Where are you based? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  9. Does sound like you only have the valet key (the button on the release is there to stop valets being able to open it so the fact your key won't unlock it makes sense, or he boot direct - you probably can't lock the glove box with it either) Next best bet would be removing the panel with the release lever on it, and bypassing the lock using the wiring direct. 10. What ways have you tried to open it? Inside where the release lever is, there is a key hole which is also a push button. If that has been pressed in, it disables the boot release lever. Your key should fit it and allow the button to pop back out, the release lever should then work. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  11. Maybe the rad cap is buggered and not keeping the pressure to prevent boiling. Failing that, head gasket issues would be the next guess Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  12. I have read the forums (all of them). I see mention, and in some cases suggestions that there is this problem, which wasn't always the case. I don't see a "common" problem though, in the LS or GS forums. It happens, no denying that. If someone wants to change the rad to be sure, then that is fine also B) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  13. ATF isn't like oil, so it will soak into tissue differently anyway. No harm in changing the rad now you've ordered it for piece of mind. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  14. That just looks like old atf (not that bad either). Why a radiator change? I've heard of the cooler failing, not to the extent of it being a common problem though. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  15. I'm not sure where eBay supports that people are getting confused. There are bottles of pre-mixed red and pre-mixed pink. Both types are different (the ingredients are different), pink is not just diluted red. If it says pre-mixed ("pre" as in before you bought it), it is ready for use, if it says concentrate, it needs diluting. I can't find any that say they are pre-mixed concentrate (which would be confusing) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  16. You've lost me I'm afraid. The wheels look like they are snug to the spacers, what am I missing? If the wheels are sticking out too far, then you just need thinner spacers. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  17. Looks very nice. How have you found the coilovers? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  18. Ok cool, glad you have it sorted B) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  19. What was wrong with the ones in the eBay links I posted? Seemed spot on for what you needed if you didn't want lowered springs Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC

  21. There are some areas through the app that cause it to crash every time, are there plans to update the forum to work correctly through tapatalk. As an example, if I view a user profile from a post, it shows none of the info, and then crashes out a few seconds later. Normally I wouldn't mind, but as the app had to be purchased, seems a bit odd that things are not kept working. Incidentally, for a short while, the app wasn't available anymore in the Apple Store (I deleted the app to see if it would cure the crashing, but hen couldn't find it again in the Apple Store to re-install). At that point, LOC showed up in the normal tapatalk network. Now the app is back, it has disappeared from the network again (everything worked through tapatalk itself though, no crashing) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  22. I would assume, although I don't know for sure, that it would be similar to the GS, glove box out and maybe cd changer if it is in the glove box. You should at least be able to figure it out with the glove box out I expect. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  23. I've recently changed that servo on my GS430, I can upload the pics later if it helps? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  24. Welcome to LOC B) Looks very nice, not too keen on that grill though, prefer the mesh Sport grill personally :) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
