  1. Welcome to LOC B) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  2. You'll be lucky to find any sport springs to be honest, better off get a full set of lowering springs so that you know they are all matching. A set of H&R springs only cost £240'ish. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  3. What John suggests would work, but that would put the tail sidelights on as well, and trigger any other circuits related to sidelights. If you want just the front sidelights, you'd need to run the relay for just those and not just mimic the sidelights switch (which may need a diode or two in the mix to avoid putting the rear taillights by feeding power back up the circuit to other things (and any interior lighting hooked into the sidelights, possibly things like cig lighter illumination, Window switches, clock dimming, etc). 4. www.toyodiy.com for part numbers, no diagrams anymore though. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  5. This seems to happen all the time now. My old gen2 gs300 Sport went to an enthusiast too, and then appeared the next week back up for sale by a dealer. Almost all the Corrado (my project car) seem to be going the same way. On the plus side, it seems to be pushing their prices up in general as a result. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  6. They do disable in reverse on my 2001 GS430 Sport, I'm surprised they changed that feature. There is also a button on the rear view mirror to turn it off. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  7. I do on my gen 2 GS. Meant in the bad snow (to be fair, not needed to swap over for the last couple of years) I didn't have to abandon the car at the bottom of the hill in side streets Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  8. Have you got a picture of the wheel(s), someone may have a brochure with a pic of them. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  9. No help specifically but all four came out with no issues on my '01 GS430. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  10. I see this being mentioned about seals in master cylinders, but never in all the years I've done brakes have I ever undone the bleed nipple or flipped a seal. It would seem very odd for seals to be so slack they could flip under such small back pressures. The pressure of applying the brakes would be massively greater and should flip the seal if it was that way inclined surely? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  11. Good result B) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  12. Yeah, inlet manifold off for the knock sensor(s). Not that bad a job overall though. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  13. A faulty knock sensor can show symptoms like this. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  14. I'd be surprised if you or the dealer can track new "genuine" items down unfortunately. eBay has a few sets of lowering springs, the cheapest being... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231455122729 I fitted gmax lowering springs to my GS430 when I did mine, none on eBay but there are gmax stockists on eBay who may be able to get them if you sent them a message. 15. The lambda doesn't affect anything until the engine warms up so the sensor itself won't have caused cold start issues. No auto choke as such on these cars, just temp sensors to detect cold start. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  16. Sometimes if you have loose change on/in the centre console it can trigger false alarms. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  17. When I ordered roof bars from Lexus for my gen 2 a few years back, when they arrived they had a pic of a gen 3 GS on the box. The parts guy said they were the right part for a gen 2. I was sceptical, and they definitely aren't, but although the feet are not a perfect match on the contour of the ridges on the roof line, they fit solid and never move. 18. Unfortunately, no switch panels in the garage :( Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  19. Yeah, It is around the ignition barrel. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  20. Been a while since I worked on a gen 1 but I'm sure the board does come out after some clips are pushed aside. Not sure if I've still got one kicking about in the garage, so I'll have a look later. Yeah, as far as I know, you will need to tape the transponder up inside the dash near the pick up ring to get the remote start to work. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  21. Does anyone know whether this also applies for a UK 2006 IS 250 SE-L's headlights? Only if they are flat beam HIDs. Easy enough to check against a wall or garage door. If they are flat all the way across, then good to go, if they have a wedge of light going up from the flat top of the beam, you'll need the patches. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  22. Welcome to LOC B) Great result with the arm rest Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  23. That mileage shouldn't be a problem in itself. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  24. I feel a mini-meet coming on B) Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
