  1. just changed it...Tigerfish.. :D ok. Better clear my cache out, still show Chorlton at the mo.
  2. Ebay, Autotrader and Exchange and Mart normally throw up a few.
  3. What do you think, debadged or not? It is currently without. I quite like the fact most people don't know what the heck the car is from the front
  4. Have you tried bouncing each corner of the car? Do they bounce and return the same as each other. If any of the shocks are knacked then this would give a similar sensation.
  5. Very nice colour, probably my favourite on the new IS B)
  6. Still no joy on getting the rear camber sorted. Car went in last friday and came back still the same. They got the nuts undone, but the bolts are "rusted" to the collars going through the rubber bushes. They didn't want to try to hard to turn them incase they split the bushes and ruined the suspension arms. Anyone got any experience in freeing up the adjusters or am I destined to have to fork out £500 on suspension arms? Does anyone make after market polly bushes for the Mk1 GS's?
  7. There are a few bits to look out for on this link clicky
  8. Hi Mate, Can you suggest a decent independant garage I can use in the future? I did try looking before biting the bullet with the main dealer, but couldn't really find much. Don't mind going up as far as Derby.... :) The place I use is called Westend Motors on the Cumberland Road Industrial Estate in Loughborough.
  9. Sounds like a fair price as far as Lexus dealers go. Like Maneesh, worth finding an independent that you can use (not that they would've got an exhaust bit any cheaper mind you). As an example, the rear crank oil seal had gone on mine. Lexus quoted £940 for the job, The independent I always use for the MOT was £250. The torque convertor seal had also gone so the total bill came to £313. A bit of a saving
  10. They are the correct sizes mate, 21" for the driver, 19" for the passenger side.
  11. I have added a tutorial for this now :winky: clicky
  12. I thought it was only the IS's that had bad geo settings from the factory?
  13. I'd have to agree also. I've never yet taken one of the cups of coffee I've been offered Have to say I've never been tempted to look round the show room. With the budget I have, I'd far sooner not see what is newer/better/faster than what I have :shutit:
  14. Worth checking the price at the dealer too. They were cheaper than I expected when I asked about the GS300 ones.
  15. This is the system overview from my manual. Maybe it might help trace what might be causing the problem
  16. They are very simple to do mate with just a couple of tools. I don't mind whipping a front wheel off at the weekend and doing a few photo's/walkthrough if you can wait until then.
  17. ebay is your friend for most of the cheaper items (air filter, chrome bulbs). Performance exhausts are expensive. http://www.prolex-uk.com/ are not showing any exhausts bar blitz rear mufflers. http://www.tdi-plc.com are showing mufflers and systems. Also take a look at http://www.envyperformance.com . I think Envy now do a gold member discount, as do Prolex and TDI I believe. You could always look at getting a custom system made.
  18. I would assume so mate. The price was £18 each (less with the gold discount). They come with amber 501 bulbs, which I changed for chromed amber bulbs to give a completely amber free look.
  19. You can use RX300 clear side repeaters (part # 81730-20220 from Lexus) on mk1 and mk2 GS's. A bit more pricey compared to universal ones but perfect fit. These are them on my mk1 "Other such mods"? You'll need to be a bit more specific really.
  20. After seeing this pic on that thread, that red is by far best 2nd gen I've seen B)
