  1. Can only assume it is the smaller turning radius of the inside wheel compared to the outside wheel confusing the system. Maybe some worn teeth on the pickup ring is enough to show up with the different wheel speeds when going that slow.
  2. Gen 3 Disc diameter is 334mmx30mm, same as used on the 450H. What other size are you finding? if it is 296mm, then that is the Gen 2 GS430, rather than the Gen 3.
  3. is it doing this without any throttle being applied? I'm not aware of any direct connection to oil and/or filter as far as running is concerned. Has the fuel filter been changed recently?
  4. I would expect better fuel consumption than that, unless you are ragging it around, in which case you will see values that low. Are there any stored fault codes? Does it do the same if you manually select gears and accelerate as hard as you can without kicking down?
  5. Any warning lamps lit on the dash? Have you checked for any stored fault codes?
  6. Looks like this one is for sale again http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-Allard-P4-Prototype-/292109958232?hash=item44031c3c58:g:yVMAAOSw~y9ZD9ng
  7. I'll have a look at the wiring diagrams later and see if there is anything obvious. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  8. sounds like some of the wiring may have been left unplugged. Have you rechecked?
  9. Where abouts in Hampshire are you? I have a set of Lexus Locking wheel nuts and key, I'm in Basingstoke.
  10. nice looking IS. The 18" Aero pack TTE alloys have always been my favourite wheel on these cars. Set the car off a treat.
  11. nice job. I use Sonax BSD and the endurance tyre gel, both really good stuff.
  12. Welcome to LOC Nice looking IS Any plans to move to 18" wheels, would set it off nicely.
  13. Sounds like the solenoid in the starter is on its way out. There is a link in my signature block regarding overhaul of the starter if it helps. It does of course mean the starter needs to come off, which is in the V of the engine. Not a simple jobs as the inlet manifold usually has to be removed (unless someone has had it off before and done a slight mod on the bolts), although in itself, the manifold isn't that complicated a job if you are handy with spanners and a socket set.
  14. Offer still stands with the double din fascia I've got. I can post it, or I'm heading past Ipswich on Saturday 27th May at some point as I've got a week on the Norfolk broads starting that day, if you want to test fit it. Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  15. Yeah, the fogs I got were the same. I ended up not using them on sidelights, as the brightness didn't match. That could be over come by have a variable resister in the feed to set the brightness (similar to the dash light adjuster principle). Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  16. Thanks for the info is that the red of the lens itself or the red of the light emitted? I can see why on the GS it would look awful if it didn't match as they are next to each other. The difference in colour emitted worries me I need to power them up and make sure it is the same colour as my current colours I could live with different colours reds It was the actual colour of the plastics. Will yours be on with sidelights? Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  17. When I fitted the aftermarket rear light clusters to my GS, it wasn't the quality that caused problems. I found the red parts were just a completely different type of red to the fog lights, so things just didn't look right. So I ended up changing the fogs too to get round that problem 😎 Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  18. Sorry mate, somehow ended up with a stray zero, it should read 60.1 Sent from my iPhone using Lexus OC
  19. the flat bottom steering wheel should look mint, I'm a big fan of those.
  20. Mine came from eBay, and is the CT24LX06 one you mention. I can't think of anything outwardly visible that is different, unless they changed the brackets that the stereo and climate control bolt on to. The double Din install link in my signature might help to see if the pictures shed any light on differences. for wiring diagrams, I uploaded these a while ago, but not sure if they'll match yours or not.
