  1. Don't think it works anymore.. im24601@googlemail.com yeah that's the one Tango, I had his mobile somehwere before my desktop PC went kaput, will try to find it (if only to text and find out what happened) I expect if he has been gagged, he won't tell you in a text anymore than he has on here.
  2. If it comes on when you press the brake pedal, it could be one of your brake lamps out, otherwise it does the fluid level (mine was coming on intermittently for the last week or so and a top up of fluid cured it - it was just above min but hard cornering was bringing it on), if it is neither of those, then you need to get it checked by the dealer.
  3. The connectors will go the other way round but won't lock on. I swapped the pins round on mine, just use a needle/pin to free the locking clip on the pin and push it out of the back. Once both have been pushed out, push them back in the the other way round.
  4. They are the same connectors as the kit I got for my GS. They will go together, but have to be tight to keep things water tight. Once connected up, if the lights don't fire up, try swapping the wires round in the connector. Some of the kits, including mine, are wired the opposite way round so don't work straight off.
  5. Tezza isn't OBDII by all accounts. Edit: Posted at the same time as Mat
  6. Are the backing plates behind the discs solid? If they have rusted some of the mounting bolts through they can rock and touch the disc. or if they get bent out of shape they can catch on the disc when cornering loads move things about a bit.
  7. Looks like they have thankfully reduced the size of the wing wirrors. They always looked like they had found a spare parts bin from the local bus/lorry/truck company when it came to the wing mirrors.
  8. I think I would have to see them on a car atleast (preferably an IS) as they are quite different to anything else I have seen. Isn't the offset wrong for the IS though?
  9. Is it anything like the port (engine bay and under the steering column) of the Mk1 GS? On the GS, you can apparently connect certain pins together and count the flashes on the CEL to get the codes.
  10. Yup, just remember to order the ones with the straight pins if you are replacing a bog standard clear white bulb. You need the offset pins if you are replacing a bulb that already flashes amber.
  11. Welcome to LOC :) What is the solution? it may as well go in this thread??
  12. I agree. Fake or not, I still think they look sh%te and is by far the worst part of the car. Two side by side would look fine, the stacked arrangement just unticks all the boxes for me. Horrid.
  13. you are a STAR did that and the light went out and started first time ,thanks for that i appriciate it alot You are welcome. Glad it is sorted :)
  14. I would suggest a trip to WIM, I had my toe adjusted and sock wear has been significantly improved.
  15. I seem to remember something like turning the key to the on position and leave it for five minutes, turn off and then it should be fine after that. Maybe someone else can confirm.
  16. I'm not going but bread pudding would be my vote B)
  17. Yeah, I'm guessing that is part of it mate. Although the outputs of the new head unit must go somewhere. This is where the question of the original amp removal comes into it. If the stock amp can be ditched, it can't be doing anything as far as impedence matching goes ( through the stock amp). in which case, either the cable has some trickery going on in it or there is no impedence matching. If it can't be ditched, then how does it take high level speakers outputs from the head unit and feed them through the low level inputs that the stock head unit would've had?
  18. Very nice. No idea what what the E46's are like to drive but the E36 Coupe I had was the dogs. Loved it and was more reliable and cheaper to fix when it needed it than the Lex has proven to be so far.
  19. If you are not having any uneven tyre wear issues then I would stick with what you have already.
