  2. spot on mate the run of the mill bloke will not notice so they don't care .my father in law backed his audi twice to the workshop that resprayed his front end and it was not until he mentioned his 25 years running his own workshop (panel beater ) that they finaly did it properly ,I think the majority of work these garages do are on company cars and most company car drivers are not that botherd with the quality .
  3. yeh i agree ,also when the paint is applied to thickly as well ,thing is it is quite common nowdays seems most second hand cars i look at that have had work have it .
  4. Have you topped up the brake fluid as these are sometimes the same light
  5. It should match the original paint with no dimples or specs .some new paint can look a bit orange peely in texture compared to the original .
  6. I started mine this morning from cold and had a good look it idles at 1800rpm just like yours when it is very cold .do's not rev so high if started from cold later in the day sits at about 1400rpm as said in previous post .I think this is normal and would leave it as it is ,the only suggestion is to put it in drive after you have started the car this will drop the revs to around 900 rpm and will avoid unessasary engine wear :)
  7. On initial start up mine shoots up to 1800rpm but then within a millisecond drops down to 1400rpm
  8. you have got to be carefull i let two lads wash my van and then watched em drop the sponge a few times and just carry on ,the thought of all that grit on my lovely paintwork made me do it myself the next time :) .
  9. Its a look a like ,the grille is not from the sport ,looks like a nice car though probaly been done by the dealer to sell it quicker although at that price they could have mine ,less miles on mine as well
  10. mine go's up to about 1400 rpm i am sure yours can be adjusted but not sure how ,try on the throttle body must be a screw or something to adjust it with
  11. Has anyone got a pic were this sport decal go's as i have never seen one and as my bumpers have been resprayed would like to replace it
  12. you must be able to swap the insides over .do you have the one in the key or the seperate fob.
  13. Thing i hate is the windscreen wiper stalk on my car and the indicator stalk on my van are on opposite sides i am forever indicating when it starts raining
  14. Brand new as well bet they go for a few quid
  15. They are all auto and i think all the mk1 had leather .For £1500 it seems very cheap and if its a good one you would be silly not to buy it ,but i would get it checked out by the aa etc as they are pricy if they go wrong ,I think the wheels go straight on but different wheel nuts are needed .
  16. Very nice maz looks the bizzness B)
  17. Mine has the inserts coloured grey ,would think they are both origonal but one could have been refurbished .
  18. their is a purple colour. The parts are avaliable from lexus but are exspensive especialy the alloys and front grille .to be honest i would go for a sport that is origonal as the parts would be hard to get and as colin said no difference in the engine .
