what happend today did they contact you again

i was told that the company in question rings 30 to 40 people all at once on a computer system and then only talks to the first person to answer and then another operator takes the next one to answer ,but if you answer and there is no operater to take call it hangs up

No it will not do the alloys it is a very soft finish and will damage easily .

problem was they were phoning two or three times a day and just putting phone down .thought they were crank calls to begin with

We have been getting calls from double glazing,gas, electric companys over the last couple of weeks at all times of the day and night ,some of which just put the phone down when you have answered it .i found this company that can stop them phoning you and thought i would post it in case anyony else gets the same problem http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/mpsr/ they also can do your address to stop unwanted mail etc

If i had a clean stag i would keep it ,one of my all time favourite cars ,shame they go wrong so often would have to be a second car just for them sunny weekends or an old shape 911.

They aint got a leg to stand on .phone them tomorrow and ask to speak to the manager or higher ,tell them how worried you have been all night etc and tell them you are going to report them to lexus .the only difference between your car and a uk model would probaly be the length of the warrenty they are useally just a year instead of the standard three ,it is how the car supermarkets sell them so cheap and flog you there own warranty for the remaining two years, some dealers feel this should show in the used price as the car was cheaper when new. But the deal is done and most importantly both signitures are on your paperwork :winky:

Tell em to get lost .On what grounds do they base your car being worth less ,i presume it has a full v/w service history etc .when you say import do you mean it came from germany etc as i had a GTi turbo from there and got the same trade in as a uk car .phone them tomorrow and tell them you want some money back as you have found out your car was imported from japan :)

i have heard good reports on this company and they are just up the road from me in gillingham i think ,do you need to leave the car with them

i think it is money well spent and you can sell it as a sport as it is not stated on the log book. i was told a lot of dealers converted them at port of entry so as long as you use lexus parts i can not see the difference .

I would run a mile with that sort of mileage .To many problems will arise and it will end up costing as much as a low mileage one in the end.

that is a good deal steve whats the mileage like.i would have thought around 100k for that price as that is cheap for a sport in good nick

your soarer must have been realy bad on juice as i find the GS bad enough

good choice steve ,as for the vibration i think all of the mk1 sports seem to get it now and then mine had it a while back but new tyres and balancing sorted it ,do seem to notice it on certain road surfaces at about 80 mph so i just go quicker to sort it . :)

10 hours at fifty quid an hour it gets worse or better in your case :D

i never lock my van on my drive as there is nothing in it to nick and they smash it up just to see ,the lexus is the only car i have ever locked as the radio will not come out like previous cars.

I did not buy them but phoned for a quote on pirrelis to match the front .Have not got the 10" rears on mine but was thinking of getting them from lexus before nasty thoughts of selling the car entered my head
