Why not buy a evo they come in manual and use your lex when you want a bit of class at the weekends B) ,somethings tells me i should not have said that

i think tescos will be the cheapest i tried every were to beat them and ended up with them.

yes i think it is slightly cheaper but the last one i had done was £160 .there are some independent ones as well ,someone might be able to recommend one

just make sure that mileage is in keeping with the cars condition ,check wear on the pedals,steering wheel,seats etc,lift matts and check wear on carpets,check for white smoke when reved .Also i think cambelt is due at 60,000 so ask if it has been done and if so ask for proof or you will need to do it at a cost of about £300 and if you can aford to get an aa report done it will save you money in the long run and i would not buy an import without one ,ask about a warrenty and how much you are covered for per claim. as they are dear if they go wrong

not a good day then mate but this will make you feel better ,got a quote for the cambelt on my van £430 ,can you beleive that for a poxy reno ,got so ****** of phoning around decided to unload me van ready for tomorrow when finished shut the side door but left something in there ,me bloody little finger squashed it flat jumped around for ages swearing me head of it now looks a nasty shade of purple .went out to pick the kids up and reversed the lexus into a wall got out to see the damage and thought i had got away with it only to find when i got home it was the tail pipe i had hit pushed it right back and it is blowing from the back box :duh: .lifes a bitch at times ;).Groan over going to bed now bet i stub me toe on the way up :P

Bit of the old fibre glass matting and another can of aerosol in the matching colour and it will look fine :) ,seriously though glyn c is right i broke my sink in my old house and the colour was no longer avaliable they replaced the whole lot in white so give em a ring .hows the wheel :D

Its not the brand its the dealer there are good and bad for all makes of car ,The dealer i use is the nuts but then my car has just come out of waranty and that will probaly change however my last car was an audi and they were also good .My volvo blew its gearbox and the suppying dealer quoted £3700 as it was just out of waranty ,i decided to shop around and the dealer 10 miles away paid 50% towards the cost of the gearbox and fitted it for free .main dealers are nothing more than backstreet garages made good and the attitude has nothing to do with the brand just the people that work there .And yes i do think the GS is overpriced and if i had £42,000 it would be german all the way .
