Dos'ent say but i would think with but check with lexus .would think if a gs300 can't tow it your looking at a 4x4 as you said earlier .

I would think it will be perfect for towing but pretting sure you have to fit an oil cooler for the gearbox,lexus call it a towing kit.state in book you can tow up to 1200kg with brake ,and 500kg without .

Sounds like a nice car i would think you will get around 7k for it now .

I would let some one knock you down on the price for the wheels,It will make them feel like they have a good deal and stop them knocking you down on something else .as for the blemishes i would get them done by dentmaster etc as it might put people of and will probaly not cost the earth to put right .your car has a lot going for it like the 10 inch rears that people seem to realy want but are very hard to get hold of .what colour is it .if it's white it's a hard one to sell.have you tried advertising it on this site .

yeah they have to go on special rims so if you buy a car with them on your stuck with em unless you change wheels and tyres ,would have them on mine any day ,had a blow out at 80mph in a capri and it frightend the life out of me

They do fetch good money for the right car and as much as peoples attitudes have changed towards high mileage cars a lot of people still walk away from anything over 100k unless it is very cheap .

That is a very good point as these tyres will become standard on a lot of cars ,probaly high performance and prestige first ,these are the car the thieves nick so will the stinger be made redundant ,and will thieves and joyriders target the cars with them on ,i think so .

could also be a doggy plug or lead and the radiator problem could just be a coincidence

I think you will get more than that for it i would say around 8.5k.It's one of them cars that fetches more than book and someone will pay extra for the low mileage etc .It will be all about waiting for the right person to come along .

that is bad luck ,i have a number plate surround (front)if you want it ,would need painting as is in grey at moment

the escort on that year is a pig i would stick with toyota or honda ,keep looking for a lower mileage one they do exsist .the astra is a good car and the parts are cheap ,have a look at the salvage sites for stolen recovered etc ,some real bargains there and at that price hpi etc dos'ent matter

should get away with just doing the moulding ,managed to t-cut out the worst of it but still shows,trying to match the colour will be the biggest pain ,thing is it aint so much the damage but the fact they did it and drove of .wife went to a pub at lunch time with the kids and this is were it happened , there is a hotel there as well, so i am going there tomorrow to see if the car is a regular visitor .wont be to hard to spot the culprit its the same colour blue as my van

Came home from work and as i am walking up the drive is see it ,a foot long scrape in blue paint right along my back door ,its about 3 wide deep and in places is down to the base coat luckily it is on the moulding on the door so no dent but :tsktsk: annoying all the same .new number plate holder came today freshly sprayed after lexus tonbridge scraped the front whilst servicing it last ,been waiting eight months for it and have phoned them at least 20 times over that period so a big thumbs down for lexus tonbridge 's customer service it is proper :tsktsk: .anyway i stuck it on this morning and was quite proud of my unblemished car ,not now though some scum of the earth piky :tsktsk: head has scraped the :tsktsk: door .no note :tsktsk: all ,just about sums up how i feel about the human race at the moment .Makes me want to sell it and buy a jeep with :tsktsk: off bull bars and side steps .

All the sports were supplied with the 4 star brace type thingy ,there is no were to put it and it vibrates in the boot .aint tried mine yet but will tomorrow to see if it fits

Steve i think there is more to this maybe due to the machine used to balance your wheels .Mine are the origonal wheels and are not in perfect condition and when i had mine done last at quick fit 3 of them were found to be buckled ,i asked them to take them to a different branch that had a newer and far better machine and all wheels were fine .i also had a puncture repaired a few weeks ago and the wheel was fine .get another opinion as four buckled wheels on your car would have felt terrible at any speed ,and if all else fails they are about £180 from lexus :) .

You do not have to reregister it ,and the mot is only nessacary if car is more than three years old.you just send of for the log book as usual .i would hpi it and find out what cat write of it is A is total loss and not deemed as repairable ,b not so bad and so on .you never know might be unrecorded .as for insurance you have to inform them it is a write of that has been repaired and all it will affect is the amount they payout if nicked or total loss again.Also if you sell it you have to tell the new owner of its past and it will afect the price you get for it.
