No they were changed 96 onwards and the central locking is on a seperate fob not on the key -
Don't worry nearly all of them have not got sport on the log book,sounds like a nice car and with the sport sticker on the bumper sounds very origonal as most i looked at including my own had been sprayed at front to cover chip etc ,sounds like your has not been touched so a good sign ,they were all changed at port of entry into sports so explains why log book do's not state sport ,happy motoring you will love it

steve i mean't the brace for the sport alloys the tool kit one don't fit

Also were the eck do's everyone keep that four star brace, with a boot that small i need all the room i can get

Biggest niggle for me is the boot space ,with two kids under six i realy struggle sometimes .

something else to consider is the cream leather comes with a brown dashboard which can make the car seem a little dated ,personaly i would go for the silver it's a much more modern colour and once you take of the side repeaters and indicaters and replace them with clear ones it realy make a difference to the look of the car . grey leather don't look that bad after all it's still an option on most new cars :)

Had the same problem at lexus tonbridge they are part of the same group ,just ask them for 15% discount or your take it some were else ,bet they accept .

had my reno done and as i said it works the immobiliser but not the central locking ,you have to open door with key,he list's gs300 in his book , yes you have to have a key to do it but any key will do ,they swipe the key across a unit and it records the code they then transfer it onto the new key .

Both nice colours ,i think black is nice but hard to keep clean.not sure there is a way of checking you have a genuine sport other than asking dealers to check chassis number etc.i think they are bullet proof pretty much but watch out for buckled sport alloys as this seems to be a problem

You can get a key cut at some key place's but it will not unlock your car via the central locking only disarm the immoberliser and start the car

Steve if you would like addresses and phone numbers on how to donate i can supply you with the number and address for the south eastern area manager for cancer research uk and she will advise you on how to do it and put you in touch with their press office .That is of course if cancer research is the charity it is going to as i was not sure :P.Will post my cheque by the end of the week

Sounds like same colour as mine aspen green but looks grey/silver.i would let lexus do the cambelt if you can afford it ,better piece of mind and plenty of comeback if problems ,never heard of tyres but always had pirrelis on mine they are quite soft wearing but plenty of grip ,lasted me about 12,000 miles last time

I had a spare key made for my van yesterday with the chip in it for immobiliser for £25 quid ,bloke in the shop said he can do lexus one s for same price .had been told previously that you had to go to main dealer for these keys ,apparently most good key places can do these now at much lower cost than lexus :)

Had the car about 18 months not had them done but previous owner might have ,they are in good nick but the center caps are starting to go .
