  5. Always liked the look of the mk1 sport and whilst out looking for a landcruiser i spotted it staring at me in the lexus garage next door ,i tried to resist and look the other way but the bugger got me in the end :P so bought it on the spot and it has been the longest i have ever owned a car. Will be up for sale around febuary as i need something bigger and have been putting of selling it for about two years now ,realy wish i could keep it as a second car but the prospect of two lots of tax insurance etc is just to much .has to be bought by someone close as i still need to visit it every now and then to ease the pain of having to sell
  6. craig if it is just the mechanical stuff thats bent it wont be to bad ,but if the leg has bent you will need to have it put on a jig ,if you buy it back let me know as i now someone in kent (swanley) who is good and will not charge you the earth to put it right ,yuo realy need to know the extent of the chassis damage if any .
  7. see what they offer you first craig , it seems like a lot of work but i'm sure once you get the bits of and get an idea what you need it wont be as bad as you think to do.might even be lucky and be able to source all the bits together ,i take it it needs wishbone ,rack , suspension leg etc,but no bodywork damage or has the chassis leg moved
  8. Sorry to hear that craig ,look on the bright side though if they write it of you stand to get around £5000? ,you can buy the car back for around a grand ? spend two grand of it putting car back together with parts sourced from breakers etc and have two grand left to do with what you please .i had my van written off a couple of months back they paid out 6.5k and i bought it back for 1.5 k and did the repair myself for £500 :D
  9. you can drive it in the snow but it will have very little traction ,they have rear wheel drive and a very light rear end .the uk car comes with cd changer as standard in the boot are you sure yours has not got it .
  10. the ones you want are phillips sivertec bulbs ,most good car shops sell them try halfords ,or do a search on the internet . http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/car_db.ph...l=IS200SE&type= not sure on the fitment for your car but sure someone else will be along to let you know which ones to order but would think yours have the offset pins like mine
  11. At that mileage there is not a lot to look for apart from wheel wobble caused by warped discs and the radiators have a tendency to go as well .i would leave it at home if it snows as they are useless when the white stuff falls
  12. well thats my guess out window ,look on the bright side stu its a lot easier on the missus now :D ,both mine were around 9lb ,but my brothers were both very small and they are fighting fit ,, if the little one arrives on xmas day you get yer picture in the local rag,my youngest was born on feb the 29th 2000 so she has only just had her first real birthday this year.good luck
