  1. Have a day out in Chatham (kent) Rodders 90% of the population there is a chav hence the nickname Chavham.
  2. What about colin will he have a special meter with lots more space .
  3. found that quite sad, makes you relise how good we had it compared to the kids nowadays,i know when i was 6 (the same age as my little girl) i was always out mucking around etc and that was in peckham london .now i S*** myself if she wants to knock for the kid next door to come into our house to play ,infact i stand at the door and watch her go and wait until she comes back :) ,sign of the times or just me being a worrybum ??
  4. Mates got a rocker type switch fitted to his beemer ,works if someone opens a door ,you have 30 secs ? to rock the switch three times one way then once back etc .if this is not done the car cuts out ,seems to work well
  5. Depends on the year, if its 96 onwards it will probaly have the alarm stated in earlier posts
  6. It was good and sick all at the same time ,on again tomorrow :yack:
  7. dont now wether it is interesting or sick anyone else seen it ,they are disecting a real body .
  8. I think its just all part of owning a car now ,people have no respect for others property ,i see it all the time they just pull into the space nearest to were they are going (cause thier to fat to walk any further than 3 foot)then they just swing thier door open into what ever is next to them .dont sell your car as that would be letting them win and you will regret it when you are drinving around in your cheap runabout,i bet if we did a poll on who has had thier car damaged by someone else in a car park etc the i have box will win hands down .Also call in chips away to do the work its a lot cheaper and no panel removal needed ,and try to park in the furthest corner away from everyone else
  9. yep totaly agree would never use it in my engine other than if i was realy stuck ,but its a renault van and springs leaks daily :P
  10. Found this info http://www.uk-plc.net/companyformation/faqs.htm#q1
  11. Had the same problem with my van about three weeks ago and added some power steering fluid from slick 50 that claims to seal small leaks etc ,i took out most of the remaining fluid and added the slick 50 stuff and after about 10 miles of driving the screeching has gone and no more leaks (fingers crossed ).worth a go if only for a tempory solution .cost about £7 from halfords
  12. is your wifes company a registered company, ie limited and with company number? ← No mate ,starting to wish we had though been running for about five years now and never thought anyone else would come up with the name as is was started by my wife Tanya and a freind called Hiedi hence the name ,also we did loads of searches when she started up just in case .not a leg to stand on know if the other company has registered the name
  13. Just done the same search and my wifes company has the same problem only thet call it TANY-YA-HIDE and my wifes is called TAN YA HIDE,supose by adding the dashes in between they get around the problem ..
  14. Yes you are right it has not got the prestige of the others but at least with a volvo you will not see one comming the other way everytime you go out as you will with the bmw or the audi.they are well built to and the safty is second to none .as mat said why not wait for the is if it is out this year ,could even sell yours first and drive around in an older car for a while to avoid the drop in prices the new one is gonna have on the old is200
  15. I like the new volvo ,but the audi 1.8T would be a close second
  16. i think its a case of not knowing when to stop ,would look nice if he had just put the kit on and left of the other gizmos such as the rear spoiler etc
  17. It states in the manual for the alarm that the light on the keyfob will dim if the battery needs replacing
  18. Don't know where the ECU is - possible under one of the front seats. Should have TVSS written on it. ← it is deffo this alarm as the earlier cars had the button on the key ,and yours is the same year as mine and it is the TVSS 111B.Good luck
  19. States in the hand book that changing battery will not erase the code ,do you have a seperate keyfob or is it built into the key
  20. Don't know wether this will help http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...ssPageName=WDVW
  21. i would say not, but looks pretty damm convincing .just cant beleive that is possible
  22. 60,s and 70's for me some great music and bands ,80,s for memories growing up and all that .90's got to be the worst for me .
  23. Mine has done this twice ,first time was a faulty bulb and the second was brake fluid .just topped it up and not came on since .At standstill the fluid level looked fine it only came on if i braked heavy or was on a very steep slope
  24. if i go for one i will deffo wait until the new gs comes out ,the only thing that niggles me is the resale value of mine as they realy have gone down in price over the last year or so and the car has been so good i would be stupid to let it go for silly money when it has so much more left in it .i have had it for over two years now and all i have done is four tyres and a battery and that is in 22,000 miles ,never had a car that has been that reliable :)
