  3. speedo and rev needles are black, common problem and expensive to fix bulb gone on speedo dial (about 60 to 70 mph mark) bulb gone on temp readout on AC air bag light wont go out . got a "small" battery on any probs changing battery over, alarm wise as ive only got the one key, no alarm fob.no problems alarm wise with mine so u should be ok i seem to have a bit missing from my arm rest, (cup holder or something) Cup holder slides out from armrest clip cover off rear passengers grab handle, more bothered about the needles, any one got a fix for this or is it new lex parts, electronics back ground so i dont mind playing, but the worst thing is , i cant find the damn book for it , no history, not even a owners book . trying to trace this back. the way the car is mechanically it must have been looked after, as far as i know it was bought in london 02.1998 (strange it was made in (01.1996) then sold to toyota finacial services in 11.2004, i got told this tfc do reposessions. tried lex where it was origionally bough but they cant help sourcing history. any ideas Has the car got any dealer names on the number plates if so try phoning them to source history etc ,any previous owners on log book you can phone ,if the car was bought in london try phoning the london lexus dealers to see if they have serviced it .did it have a tax disc when you bought it and if so what town was it taxed in as you could phone the lexus dealers in that town .all long shots but you never know
  4. double if your are female ← Both my wife and my two girls are blonde and this is a place as well as tunisia i would not go back to because of the constant hassle from blokes who are obsessed with blonde people to the extreme that they touch them as you walk by
  5. Tell em to stuff it mate ,find all the examples you can and send them to the insurance company,i was offered 5k for my van and settled for 6.5k in the end so never accept there first offer

  8. Come to think of it i am well used to the orange light because everytime i go to use mine its always on ,what is it with women and petrol stations perhaps they should diguse them as clothes shops. :D Matt don't supose you could edit your mpg to 40 as it will go a long way to convincing her the 430 is the way to go
  9. I'd kill for 18.6!!! less than 16 at the moment can tell fuel ecomony isn't a reason for buying these things! :D ← Matt you are doing your best to put me of buying a 430 arn't you
  10. It dos not surprise me at all.i have been phoning around different dealers for these pads and the highest was £147 by one south coast dealer which make the ones i nearly bought sound cheap
  11. The plot thickens ,lexus covenrty have just quoted me £87 inc vat for the same pads with toyota written on them .nearly £20 more from lexus Canterbury, sorry i mean toyota canterbury
  12. No mate it was just a salesman ,i am gonna make a few calls because on my last service i was told i needed new pads and discs on the rear ,the pads are not even half worn and the discs were replaced 20k ago by lexus ,20k seems very quick to wear ut discs in lexus ones that are so obviousley made from recycled tin :tsktsk: foil
  13. So ****** of with it i aint even put mine in yet ,let em wait

  17. i had clifford solaris fitted last year top alarm intel start central locking boot pop and so on and fully upgadable lifetime guarantee just over £400 money well spent ← Good price as well ,just need to find someone down here that nows what they are doing :)
  18. Thinking of getting a clifford alarm installed onto my car as the standard alarm is not working ,the central locking still works and the red light comes on the dash to show it is armed but you can open the door with the key and all that happens is the indicaters flash ,you can just drive it away .Anyone got a clifford installed that can suggest on what one to go for and a rough idea on cost ,would like remote start and full closure .

And if you don't know what Timms or Shox are, you should be the one wearing slippers whilst driving! Bison :zee: ← The slipper remark was meant so that he could keep his carpets clean not a dig at his age and the fact he drives an LS .And they are on your feet i would imagine :D Timberlands and nike by any chance ,i have a few pairs for when i am roughing it :D
