i dont think you will notice any difference at all in petrol consumption as a heavy 2 litre car will use more than a 3 litre as it is working a lot harder to pull the weight of the car ,as for the heated seats mine are not that good compared to my vw golf that i had but then i also suffer with a bad back so i like the seat roasting,i think the mk2s seats are a lot better .

sorry to put a downer on the mpg but mine is terrible around town ,i reckon about 16 to the gallon ,but on the motorway it is much better .it all depends on how you drive it ,i am very heavy footed with mine and tend to cruise at about 90mph on the motorway .

I left the plate on my old car and then met up with the new owner at the dvla office and swapped it straight onto my new car ,was cheaper and a lot less hassle ,of cause you have to be able to trust the new owner but if you sign something to state that you still own the plate and it is to be transfered onto your new car at a later date there should be no problems .

if you have not got your new car then it will have to go onto a retention certificate as brettster said ,this price includes the transfer fee to put it onto your new car when you get it

lexus pads are £50 plus vat i put in aftermeket pads from my local spares shop and they were £20 ,in fact i did fronts and backs for less than £50 so quite a saving ,i have not noticed any difference in breaking and no difference in brake dust etc.

As the car has service history missing i would phone the last dealer who serviced it and ask if he has done any since ,could be the book just did not get stamped ,you also need to rule out that it has not been clocked as these cars will do big miles and not show it ,so ask the last garage who serviced it for as much info as possible .check steering wheel ,brake pedal, carpets(including lifting overmats) for wear.look at what dealer name is written on the number plates and give them a ring for info and as a last resort phone previous owner from the log book to check mileage .most important HPi the car even if the dealer tells you he has already done it ,it will verify mileage and tell you of any accident damage etc.ask them to knock the price of the cambelt and service of the car because at that mileage if it has been serviced the cambelt would have been done already .and to be honest i would rather get some money of and give the car to a garage i know and trust to service it especialy when a cambelt is involved .price sounds about right for the gs300 as the mileage is low but stick to yours guns and he will fold .

easy to fit just watch for air locks and add the right amount of antifreeze ,if the top and bottom part of your rad is ok and it is only the fins that have gone get it reconditioned as it is a lot cheaper ,just means you won't have your car for a couple of days

not a lot to check realy as they are a very reliable car ,but make sure there is no wheel wobble at speed as they suffer from this quite a lot ,make sure service history is up to date and full lexus and as said before HPi the car to check for accident damage etc ,how much is the car going for ,you could use the search feature at the top of screen as it has been covered quite a lot in the past.

they are still cack though, overpaid and over rated

I get roughly 15k out of mine but i only have 18s on the back ,it is always the inner 15% that wears out first and they are due for renewal now ,have always fitted pirreli p zeros but i am gonno go for something a bit cheaper this time .have you the 10 inch rears on yours as it is normal for these to eat tyres
