also is Sponges the best way to wash car? sorry guys, im just useless when come to cleaning the car myself...........

ok i manage to clean the inside of the car and now its clean, but it got too dark to wash the car, so i will try it tomorrow, is there anything i need to look out for when washing? i alway have problems drying the car after wash, i used Cotton Terry Towel before and it leave alots of bits on the car, so what should i use?

I have no problems with black diamonds upto now, they not black btw, they are silver, i had them on front and rear, with ebc green stuff pads....

Got my car back but now i need to wash it properly, i read one of the post and look like 3 stage is the best way to wash and polish the car, so i went out and got myself a Meguiars Gold class wash shampoo & conditioner, Meguiars Gold class clear coat liquid car wax, so what else do i need? as Pete said in another post 3 stage is Stage 1....paint/bodywork cleaner, Stage 2....polish, Stage 3....wax, so it that mean i use the Meguiars wash shampoo for stage 1, then the clear coat liquid wax for stage 3? if that the case what should i use for stage 2 the polish? as i alway though polish and wax are the same thing??? very confuse now.... ;) ;) ;) also what is the best way to wash the car? use sponge and buckets of water, or sponge and water hoses? its worth getting a jet wash from the like of BQ? any informations will b very grateful guys...... :) :) :) :) Regards Maz

Funny you should say that Dave, i was having so much fun, i forgot to turn off at M11 and end up driving all the way round on the A406 to get off on the M1 the other side of London......... ;) ;) ;)

well i set off Thursday Morning around 6:30am, and there nothing but traffic jams, then th heavy rain, finally got to TDI around 11:30am, sort everythings out, then Marks have to show me how to use all the new toys...hehe :D :D :D ... after poking around for a bit, i say goodbye to Mark, and heading back home to work, took 4 hours to get home, but oh boy...how much fun did i have.....ALOTs....hehe :) :) :) here what i found... The B&M quick shift was better than i though (after i read some of the post about it), and i have no problems with it, and it feel rock soild and pretty easy to use, also didnt find it noisy either, except sometimes when you go over very bad road surface, other wise its great...oh forgot to mention the bodybuilding reverse gear, but i find that at long as i seat toward the driver door and push it hard, its pretty easy to find reverse... Now the TTE SC, well what can i say, its fantastic B) B) , the improvement is great, and it also sound great too, the only thing worry me at once points is i couldnt find a Shell garage on the M1 that had Optimax until i got to near Leeds, and im low on fuel at the times..hehehe :D :D :D those HKS gauges is great too, so is the Apexi speed meter, alll i need is to learn to change the reading from Km to M.... The coilover and the EDFC is good too, been playing around with the setting on the way back, and now with those Japsai under braces and anti-roll bar, the handling of the car is great.... :) :) overall, thank Mark and the gang at TDI, for the great work you guys put in, and now the IS is ever more fun to drive than before..........I Love it.... B) B) will post some pictures when i get the car clean.....

ok, i will bring the 1/10 electric and a Mini Z to JAE, just hope there an area we can race on.... 1/10 electric possible with an IS200 or GS430 body Mini Z 70% Tuned Viper...not going to bring the Mini Z Toms altezza is look too good to be used as a racer...hehe

will post more pics when i come back on Thursday night, should be back faster than going.......hehe 200+ club here i come....
