    You cant get the mesh off, it is attached to the rear shelf. Taking the rear shelf out is dead easy though. 1.) remove back seats (bottom part just pulls off, back part is held in with 4 bolts and clips in at the top. push upwards to disconnect clips) 2.) remove c-pillar covers (these just pull off) 3.) gently pull shelf upwards (there is one push in clip in the centre) You should now be able to slide the shelf out of the way to hoover your cones. have fun!!!!

    I had a similer problem when i picked up my car , it turned out to be glass from a broken rear screen bouncing on the speaker cones

    Well it been a great 2 years but i am leaving ! off to try another make . I have really enjoyed the forums and the people involed in it :D . I did try the is300 but it did`nt have that WOW factor that i got my is200 (Its not the is300 fault) Also i find the used prices are just starting to fall a little to fast for my liking ... Anyway i have some bits and pieces that i will be listing on ebay so i will place the links for you lot once i have sorted out what and where . cheers Jon .
