Cheers.

Looks slightly bigger to me than the OEM lip one Chris IMHO but that could be me, could of had one like your old one last week but decided against it, just felt it wasn't big enough and would never be 100% happy with it (no funny comments please)

Nice motor matey, always loved that colour, personally though I think you should go back to stock suspension I think it looks much better, if you want i'll take those coilcovers off your hands no need to thank me
Great job so far matey welcome to LOC :D

That looks ok mate, looks like my oem one that i've got in the shed :)
Keep the shed locked do ya
Really want the raised one with the brake light but can't find one within my price range, could of had the small lip one but didn't think it was big enough so I guess this is the best compromise just a shame it's not got a brake light.
Thanks guys.

My front bumper is a little bit loose on the drivers side and rattles over bumps I thought it was the headlight but now found out it's the bumper probably just needs tightening up as it's been off a couple of times in the past few months for spraying, so just wondered if there was an easy wasy of doing it or will I have to take all the splash covers and liners off to get at it properly?
Cheers.
Yes you all have to take the covers off mate :D
B :tsktsk: ocks I knew it, cheers Gord.

WOW you kept that quiet Chris :winky: looks the Muts matey nice and clean, can't wait to see it fitted, any idea on time span i'd say at a guess not this weekend but the weekend after maybe

How much is a bonnet respray? Thinking of getting my bonnet and front bumper done- its stonechip city (well its to be expected on a car that has done 118k motorway miles).
Not sure matey mine was done through the insurance because someone key'd a load of cars in our road mine inc.
I know it cost £320 to have the front bumper and nearside wing re-sprayed after the woman over the road clipped it whilst trying to park.

Modifications and tunning section matey have a look at Mod's update by Aztecbandit page 16 ;)

Sounds like the seal on your headlights have gone, it's quite common best was to cure it is to take the lamps out and either just try and seal them with silicone or something, or more effective is to split them open re-glue and then seal, there's a thread on here somewhere about doing this.
As for your induction kit matey the original air scoop runs in virtually the same place so your better off sticking with the kit, if your not happy tho with it travelling across the engine you could always shorten the pipe to move it away from the heat, have a look at Aztecbandit's post about his home kit.

I had my bonnet re-sprayed last Sept and now it's got about 4 or 5 stone chips on it again, don't think there's much you can do about it like Manny said don't get too close to the car infront but there's no way of stopping cars coming the other way.

Think it was one of those Google street cars matey, I saw one the other week only it was an Astra estate wondered what that was until I saw it one on the news.
-
Hmmm, may do mine now after looking at how good yours turned out.
What prep and paint did you use?
Cheers guys, didn't actually prep them as I was just playing about to see what they look like but now I know I like them then I think i'll strip them back prime them and then laquer them just used some Plastikote metallic silver spray, still can't decide if I can be bothered doing the dimples tho i'm far to impatient and lazy for that.

Happy birthday matey :D
-
Some sort of double sided foamy tape I think matey, certainly not bolted.
-
Wish I had one to sell it'd pay for my lowering springs, I always steer with my left and lean on my right arm anyway
-
Did anyone else turn off there lights at half 8 (local time) last night for an hour? I did it, want to try and do my little bit for the environment considering I drive a car that does 20odd to the gallon
-
S :tsktsk: t just realised fella soz been pre-ocupied today hope youv'e and are having a gud un :D
-
They don't really take much stick in my car anyway, me and the missus don't step on them in the front and out of the 2 kids it's only my 3 year old son who has to so hopefully the laquer will do the job either that or re-spray every few months, only takes a few mins anyway.
-
they look ok now, but will soon look pump as the paint starts to peel or scratch off
Cheers guy's.
Thought that Mat but hoping the laquer will stop that happening otherwise will just scrub them back to original.
