  1. mid 20s for me, mines only for sale for £20,000 tho, cos I don't wanna sell :D
  2. sale of goods act gives you 6 months before burden of proof for defects is shifted from seller to buyer, unless i'm wrong about sound systems, maybe someone could confirm, but if i'm right, you shouldn't pay anything for repairs, regardess of any "warranty"
  3. I have had various alloys on my IS and apart from my current aftermarket and my old TTE wheels which had tapered nuts, all the other ones fit with nuts in the ebay link I gave, which should fit ALL factory standard 16 and 17 inch IS alloys
  4. nothin rare that I know of regarding wheel nuts, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lexus-alloy-wheel-nuts-for-o-e-wheels-is-200-300-gs-/290525313390 these are standard for standard alloys if by tread worn down you mean unevenly, thats common as Lexus standard setup is pants, WIM (Wheels in Motion) can sort that out for you good luck with your nuts :)
  5. agreed its a standard bumper with the lip added to it, however the "eyebrow" above the fogs is custom, previous owner has "padded" them out by the looks of it, looks a little more agressive i think, the TTE wheels u mentioned above are a member on here, bash6673, they are a bargain at £400 for the set, i'm well shocked they haven't gone yet
  6. so have you got a front lip for the existing bumper rather than a full bumper?
  7. hey an audi or bmw diesel is you want somethin sensible and have a nice weekend car
  8. the car in the pic above has the tte bumper on the grille is part of the bumper so you can only change the mesh on it really, does yours look like the one on the little display avatar of matt-c by any chance? as that one (like the standard one) can have the grille changed, however, unlike the standard one, if yours is like Matt-c's avatar pic (Legana bumper) they are rare as hens teeth and sell for silly money
  9. Mine went and didn't affect performance, just meant if the fuel:air wasn't right, it would no longer be detected properly and then start to affect performance, I'm only thinkin logically but maybe there's a little more to it?
  10. Try Lexus dealer, they aren't expensive at all and if there's nothin wrong with your existing ones you'll get much of your money back sellin those on
  11. u can inform your insurers and say that you are letting her insurance handle all costs, you can then decide who fixes your own car so you get a proper job done, and her insurer will cover it, I had a similar incident and used a company called accident exchange and they gave me an IS250 while RRG did my repairs, the other chap's insurers tried to make a fuss because I took an IS250 hire car instead of their offer of a mondeo, but they agreed to pay as it was their drivers fault, ball is in your court, plain and simple

    Lexus Is300 White

my guess is no, i've never come across a white 300 since I joined here, meaning either they never came in white or they are super rare, i've only seen IS200 in white before, and they are quite rare now as it is, so wrapping or spraying a different colour maybe your only option
  13. open the boot with the key, open the storage extension on the back of the seat and send a small child through it to unlock one of the doors??
  14. Throw a number at me, inc delivery please :D
  15. Hi guys, I want to go back to standard alloys now, regardless of any previous threads asking for others EITHER 11 spoke or older 5 spoke alloys, preferably with tyres altho not important, not too badly damaged as they need to go straight on without needing a refurb, minor marks will be fine cash waiting cheers
  16. they've been at it for years
  17. LE grille looks silly with no badge as you can still see where it is supposed to go, the mesh on the sport grille is only screwed on with a few screws so get a sport grille and a seperate mesh, trim it and screw it on in place of the original (like the one on my avatar pic, (my little L is the only badge on it and it comes off if i want it plain)
  18. I like what you did with the original fogs with the sidelight mod, i have no electrical knowledge whatsoever, what amount of wiring is involved and what were the dual filiment bulb holders you mentioned?
  19. no thats right i think mine are the ssame
  20. i've never noticed mine doin it so i'd check all the bolts where its fastened to the brackets
  21. have u got a pic, mine has the chrome tip that came on the 200 sport, it is removable so I can polish it up when its grubby, yours may have one if not u can get one on the bay and it'll fit perfectly
