  1. ah, it doesn't actually say its illegal, just that its not allowed
  2. I could be wrong, lol, it maybe that its that uneconomical to do that places simply don't do it
  3. Danny (horrible blue shirt dude) suggested when one of us goes to the loo, and askin whoever was stood next to him "can you hold this, my phones ringin" just for laffs, Dont you remember Jamie? you were drinking your coffee at the time it was suggested I suspect had we actually gone thru with it, someone may have gotten thumped...
  4. I live on a slight downhill slope, when I pull up at home, as i'm coming to a stop and pulling in to the curb (almost full lock) theres a very noticable creak from the front end of my car, feels like its around the springs can anyone help?
  5. Omega as in Vauxhall, i'm sorry but thats nothing more than inappropriate... you can be passenger in mine but you can't be bringin your unmarked traffic car, apologies amigo
  6. Get the pulsing ones, LED ones that are aftermarket look Chavvy IMO, i've seen Jamie's pulsing ones and they look smart, as they are normal rear light clusters until he brakes hard, not at all chavvy.
  7. Change the grille tho, rest of the car looks spot on
  8. the general theme of the night was "can you hold this mate, my phone's ringing?"
  9. mine needs a clean Jamie if you still got your cloth in your hand, some fool in a jeep splashed all down one side of it
  10. This is Danny's mean machine, he thinks its good enough not to get a Lexus yet
  11. apparently re-chroming isn't legal unfortunately in the UK, however i'm sure it'll look good without them being chrome
  12. Tis perfectly legal to use that road to switch directions
  13. Looks like a completely different car to when I last saw it, and it looks bloody good too
  14. If you help me find a nice red one in 12 months Danny, you can have my green one nice and cheap
  15. My bro is comin too (can't get rid of him for some reason, i'm sure he wants a lex really, but hasn't the cash, never mind)
  16. he replied saying he's sure they were all in, and i've replied since saying they definitely weren't, just awaiting his response now
  17. the keys can be programmed by yourself according to one of the threads on LOC, so its just a case of getting a blank to be cut, or is that too easy?
  18. I have a 2000 X and just had my 60k, I was advised not to bother using Lexus cos of the age/value of the car, given that the 60k is a major one and expensive labour (lexus edited their service details for the timing belt, saying 6 years/60k, contrary to the books saying 100k), unless you know someone at lexus who can do it on the cheap, timing belt/tensioners/aux belts/water pump should all be checked at 60k, the water pump alone from lexus is £100+vat, the labour for the belts/pump etc is 3-4 hours, so obviously its best to get them all done together if you can, I luckily didn't need a water pump so I saved £117, if they've already been done then your laffin' check other threads on here about plugs I might add that creativeperformance2004 has been recommended for them, however, I ordered 6x IK20's and 6x IK22's for Jamie's and only received 5 of each, and am currently in dispute about the 2 missing ones, lol, I don't know how often this seller cocks up... hope this all helps
  19. I'm glad I was a part of this event, i'm absolutely knackered, and despite a moist day (lol) it was an excellent meet, well done to Jamie (and his family) for all his hard work and effort, managed to get a few group shots of the last 7 IS200's right outside haigh hall before the last of us left
