First colour I chose was RED, then I saw what everyone else was saying, mostly red, I like the shade of red on the Merc CLS, is that something along the lines of what everyone else was thinking? definitely unusual but I think it would look good

I had kwik fit say they could match the price I stated above, and that they could do it Tuesday (I couldn't fit them myself, I wouldn't know what to do) and having been in to order the parts today they told me I shud never have been told Tuesday as theres not a chance in hell they could fit me in, so now I have to wait another week for a day off, and i'm stuck usin the bus for work until then

thats always the way isn't it, mine's green too and i've always got green parts on watch on ebay, just incase they are cheap enuff, however I have little storage space to hoard parts on the "you never know" basis, never mind

I was lookin myself, gave up cos of the price, lol, I keep emailing breakers on ebay, chances are they'd let them go for less than £100, not knowing how much Lexus actually charge, someone quoted me £40 and when I messaged back to make sure it was the actual armrest and not just the lid from below it, I never got a reply :(

I nearly always park my car across the road, so if anyone attacks my neighbours and gets sent over to mine, i'm hoping we'd hear it before they come over and then i'd have some kind of advance warning, bearing in mind the proposed changes in the law regarding protection of ones own property, theres every chance i'll be as equipped as any criminal ;) however I feel its stupid what the world is coming to, and am sympathetic to the victims, no one deserves to be attacked for their car, i'd only feel regret if I didn't try my best to defend my property, even if I give it up

I know squeaky brakes aren't normally cause for worry, but I only had them changed a couple of months ago, and the squeak is pretty bad, have I just worn the hell out of them? I rarely brake hard

I bought my 2000x for £6,500 in Jan with 55k on the clock, it had a water pump at 40k, and I paid £500 for the 60k service last month including timing belt, take it for a drive, see if someone from LOC who is local to yourself is free to go with you, Either way, I'd try and get it for book price, on the grounds that its book price, simple as that, however, it definitely seems to be a nice car, but for £7,600 you can get a 2002/03 with similar mileage, just as clean (21 cars on trader at the moment between £7k and £8k with less than 60k on the clock (SE and Sport level) last time I checked), several from traders -
