Mine creaks, is there a difference between creaking and knocking? as mine too failed the MOT for the same reason as yours, and I had lower suspension arms replaced, the creaking stopped but only briefly, now its back, not quite as bad as before, but not far off... If its the brakes, I was told to stick some Copper grease in to hold the brake pads? I haven't done it yet tho

just get any cheap mats for everyday use, mine came with a full set of real imitation Lexus mats in cream with a muddy finish, and they are still in, bought a brand new set of Genuine Lexus mats off fleabay for about £35 for best, lol

woooooooooow i'm not the only one with a standard green IS anymore, but for how long......? that inside rear passenger view looks identical to mine with the immaculately clean mats too, take them out and put old black ones in, and keep the cream ones clean for the meets ;)

Was definately a decent turn out, quite liking your IS Chris.S, not forgetting all the others too, but I still want a red one, good to meet everyone, some again, I await the next northern meet, in a couple of months maybe...

I found that using map loader meant having to download the entire Europe map, which is a hell of a file, so for now, I just stood in my front garden, with Maps on, the gps found my location, and the map was downloaded thru WLAN at no cost, and local maps were only a few MB, i'll wait until i've got quite a journey before I download the full maps

from dvla they take orders by phone, and they are often cheaper than all the other sites that do plates too, as dvla include all the fees in the price you see on the site

on Ebay's home page they display recent or popular searches, and after i'd first heard this track, the popular search panel was topped with Alf alarm clock, and dukes of hazard ash tray...

u sure the car locked fully while the bonnet was open? as for the boot being able to open, I thought that was seperate to the doors anyway (I figured it was Deano, thought he'd squeeze his turkish looking friend thru the hatch tbh) -
I don't even know if mine has any plastic bits on, hmm, shall check next time I drop my keys gettin into the car

I assume the chance of the next filler upper sticking their club card in after yours would cancel your sneaky swipe anyway, or if the next person fills up and pays at kiosk, that would also cancel yours, i'm guessing, worth a try tho

I got mine off that famous auction site, I wanted them for everyday use so I didn't choose any backgrounds or unique fonts, however, they are show plates so I didn't have to provide my log book etc, a traffic cop I asked about them said i'd be very unlikely to get stopped as the font is the legal style, but the GB logo on the left on the blue background is technically illegal for road use, and i'd any cop pulling me for them would only do so out of boredom, the blue backing that has GB on fades down into white, and there is a Lexus logo below it, which is pretty cool I think :D

Just thought i'd mention this, My brother was watching Rogue traders the other day, which featured a Clutch and Brake Specialists in Bolton, who have been doing unnecessary work to overcharge, and shoddy repairs, and it just happened to be S&D, which is part of Adsheads of westhoughton, where I bought my car, lol (I might add that my car has passed its MOT having had the ball joints replaced, and is absolutely fine, despite where I bought it from :D ) -
I'm not mechanically minded at all so the garage did it for me, Cheers Dave, my internet was cancelled so i've only come back on today, had the ball joints done for £200 all in, and the creaking that I mentioned in a seperate thread, has also gone too :D Thanks anyway tho, I shud have called you actually, forgot I had your number

I have those in too, I like the effect they have at night, with the whole light cluster lit up white, but not blinding, if that makes sense
