    theres a full set of skirts on ebay at the mo for £295, they aren't genuine TRD, but he said they were from a mold taken from original TRD's, I don't know ho wmuch TRD's are un painted tho... edit: the seller (east west customs - how original?) states TRD Body kit, but he did message me when questioned about this to confirm what i've stated above, poor feedback too actually

    your new one is a couple of years newer than your old one isn't it? (the cream glovebox would suggest its a 'Y' or later, since mines black and X reg) therefore £205, my tax is only £180 (only £2 a month extra tho)

    the stock alarm uses the horns and a siren in the boot - the siren has a back up battery and when the battery for the siren is low/ needs replacing you have a warning beep but this norm only beeps when the main battery is disconnected ah, I get you now, i've set mine off a few times, just didn't take notice where the sound was coming from (besides the horn obviously) Your car will beep intermittently when in reverse whether you got parking sensors or not, its just to tell you your in reverse (unless you have auto in which case, no beep)

    yeh they changed the regulations so it wasn't biased, so if any retailer sells at a knockdown price due to incorrect pricing its only out of goodwill as mistakes are commonly down to human error (damn humans!) reason behind it is that the customer is not obliged to buy an item, therefore a retailer is not obliged to sell an item, price is merely an "invitation to treat"

    Theres a boot alarm? The main alarm its own battery so why would there be an alarm in the boot connected to the car battery unless its been fitted by a previous owner? In which case, I can't help cos I haven't got one, sorry

    Who was driving the wheelie bin and what caused them to lose control? go thru the insurance and sue them blind! check a breaker on ebay or Lexus dealer, they can't be too expensive

    If you have somewhere to put it, break it for spares, hows the interior, doors, glass etc? can I have your grille screws and your centre arm rest if you have the fold down type in the front? you'll get more selling for parts than scrapping anyway

    do you know if it is HPI clear? I get a feeling that its accident damaged maybe from the back, which would maybe explain the new wheels and very tidy paint job, compared to neglected engine bay and not so clean interior...

    I got mine for £51.99 each, not including VAT, garage got them for me tho, not sure if they went straight to Lexus or another supplier, they are £40something on ebay and delivery means you don't really save much and you have to wait for them anyway
