  1. aw, i'm welling up here I have to say I second that heart felt speech, i've just spotted another IS I'm interested in and thanks to the help from this forum, I know what i'll be asking, and how much i'll be wantin knocked off the price of it, Cheers guys, merry xmas
  2. I had a nice drift going on on the way to work on a quiet back road that isn't gritted, I found snow mode did help me but having only been driving 15 months, I tend to be much more careful with the pedals, and I turned snow mode off cos its not as much fun with it on
  3. Merry Xmas and cheers for the card and tax disc holder, they came today :D
  4. not really your responsibilty, if u start talkin to him about debt collection wouldn't it p him off a little?
  5. do yourself a favour and check your bank account too, not online, go into the branch, cos you never know...
  6. mine did exactly the same a while ago, i've had the car just under a year and before it did it it was fine, and since then its been fine too, a mystery to me.....
  7. P*nis and A*se Biscuit, lol, I chuckled too
  8. isn't shift lock the little button next to 'P', in which case thats just so you can shift the lever without the brake pedal being pressed, in case of urgency, can you be a little more specific?
  9. I meant without half of the shell missing... :winky:
  10. I got outbid on it this afternoon, lol
  11. you bein goin thru my shed Jamie?
  12. Can't see it being very practical in the rain...
  13. ball joints too, check by turning full lock whilst moving slowly I think? and faulty stereos, very common and irritating, try and get a couple of hundred knocked off for the stereo alone if it doesn't work
  14. warranty is worth feck all, the fact that you can upgrade software and firmware so easily means half the problems you can fix yourself, if insurance/warranty is £5 a month, stick it in a jar, if your phone don't break, spend it on beer, or petrol, or ringtones, or a cowboy outfit, or a new cassette player
  15. I too shall be on the lookout, any chance of a reg number, even if its only partial?
  16. i've had various N series handsets, and I agree, they are slow, and like freezing up far too often, but N95 is also on the newer software, and apart from the battery life, they are much better than older ones, only slows if its very busy, just make sure you close programs like the gallery and music player, and don't leave bluetooth on when you don't need it either
  17. O yeh, forgot to mention that, however, mine came with 2 batteries too
  18. My N95 is a little slow when running the Maps, also, I haven't figured out whether its possible to end a call by just sliding it closed, other than that, spot on phone, I got mine of fleabay for £200 and use it with my Pay as you go sim, came with a 4gb card too, I find internet usage acceptable for cheating in the pub quiz too, the browser is much better than the older models, the camera is excellent, the video camera is excellent, the 3D ringtonefeature sounds good (although I got bored with them and just have them as they normally are)
  19. how much do the mirror covers cost on their own? I can never find any, I managed to scrape my drivers side one down the side of an ambulance and i've needed a passenger side one since I got the car, they never seem to pop up on ebay tho
