  1. The reason it faild was it was running stupidly hot and the car was at a stand still..... not sure on the mileage.... but i do abuse my car as i dont care that much about it tbh lol Tom O well never mind, maybe that defeats the object of being part of an owners club too
  2. how cleanly do they generally come off, by this I mean what, if any, bonding residue is left behind? any marks on the bodywork where a kit has previously been? if there is, how could this be cleaned?
  3. is that easy to do and can they stay as they are for the MOT?
  4. there was a set on ebay that I think were unsold, i'll try and find the link

  8. retract ur bid using "entered wrong amount" and re enter a lower one my fibreglass one doesn't look too bad at all, but I cracked it at the bottom
  9. I want it to replace my fibreglass one
  10. I have always been so careful not to kerb my rims, then the dimwits at the garage scraped my rim changing the tyre! but I find parking very easy cos i'm not a woman only joking ladies :D
  11. i'm sure i've done that once before but no screech, just disengaged and revved up, I stopped and left off the gas before stickin it back in drive
  12. which I been outbid on, but I can't afford to bid anymore as I would need to pay for painting too, I take it Mr Mole outbid me?
  13. are u pxing the lex or selling it?
  14. I have very little mechanical knowledge, I personally would steer clear, theres plenty popping up all the time with service history, as bullet proof as they are, I drove one only a few weeks ago that was advertised as showroom condition, and couldn't have been further from it
  15. that camera is pretty good, makes your car look very dusty inside :P needs a wipe over doesn't it, clock and dials work very well together
  16. i've got fibreglass replicas on mine, they have been poorly fitted as the previous owner thought it would look ok to have them screwed thru the sides, i'm gonna keep my eyes on these as they can't look worse than mine once fitted...
  17. escalate it to a claim, (if it warrants it) and they will have to reply as if they don't, paypal will credit you, paypal guidelines say that you should make reasonable effort to resolve it before escalating to a claim, if u have, escalate it now
  18. kind of like an anthrecite colour? i'm not sure, I much prefer silver, a bright silver but not chrome,
  19. i don't think it lets u now theres an open dispute
  20. bring on the Lexus owners club cake appreciation society .co.uk
  21. wouldn't worry about that mileage one bit, does it still look like new inside?
  22. I would say its the driver who hit the parked car who is at fault, the illegal parking is a seperate matter, but the fact is the moving car driver failed to negotiate an obstacle if you are acting as in independent witness you are only required to state facts anyway, not to assign blame
  23. its all rubbish anyway, the price of new cars will creep up so the £2k won't make any difference to the manufacturers
