  1. not bad progress in the time u have spent either, looks pretty good I have the satin rear lights on mine, they do look nice against green :D

  4. not off the keyfob on the IS, just some of the switches in the car still work for a short time or until you open a door
  5. there is a time delay for closing them, i'm sure on my IS I can operate the driver's window and sunroof after switching off AND removing the key, but only for about 30 seconds afterwards or until I open a door, whichever is first
  6. I always keep left when not overtaking, when entering the motorway/carriageway don't the seperating lines for lanes stop before the end of the slp road anyway? (i'll check google earth shortly) and by this point you should be able to see adequately if theres room to enter the motorway/carriageway? if i'm in lane 1 and theres a slip road joining, I pull into lane 2 if I can see theres traffic about to enter the motorway/carriageway and I have room to do so I always try to leave space between me and the vehicle i'm following

  9. I couldn't find a related topic specifically about bedding brakes in, please feel free to link it if there is one, but.... How do you/should you correctly bed in your new brakes? I had my fronts done when I first got the car and I think the rears now need doing, but having never replaced brakes on a car, I was told to bed them in, now the mechanic was really detailed on how I should bed them in, his expert words were as follows: "go easy on them for the first few days" now I think theres a little more to it than this....?
  10. I too watched it and was very impressed
  11. flux quoted me less than i'm paying at the mo for my 200 thru aviva, i'm well chuffed, just applied for a new job so will see how that goes, and what the money is like, as the plan is to maybe have it as a second car, and somethin small for daily use, the reason behind this is i've been working in my current job for just over a month and so car i've had a scrape down my drivers door, someone slammed their door into the rear passenger side door the week after, and only this evening i've noticed a new scrape on the side of the rear bumper, its becoming more of a banger every day my 200 :(
  12. sold prevoius for £320, looks like it didn't complete for some reason
  13. the part of the doors round the windows should have been left black and clear rear fogs would be a massive improvement, but its still vile
  14. going from group 12 to group 15, I shall probably ring my insurance company up 2moro and get a quote, but has anyone made this change and what kind of increase did they get??? just got a couple of quick quotes and for my IS200 was £725, IS300 was £1000, does that sound reasonable?
