  1. as per title I suppose, I have read that you can buy bolts to fit wheels to your car where the offset is a couple of mm different, ie Merc alloys (5 x 112) to Lexus 5 x 114.3 just wondering if anyone has done so on here...?
  2. I've programmed keys for both my Lex's and it was fine, where abouts in Lancs are you?
  3. Tank would go in the spare wheel well assuming its under the boot liner like on the saloon, altho LPG is only really good if your gonna do a lot of mileage in a short time as apparently in the long run its not as good for the engine (so i'm told) the S model 200 lacked the amp beside the glove box so I imagine the sound system isn't as good as the others
  4. Just press the 'Home' key :D +1 on the New Posts button
  5. there are no gear lights near the stick, the gear you are in is indicated in your instrument cluster
  6. Cheers :D i've never thought much of the sport grille but talking to someone who felt the same they said it grows on you and I do agree, although I do like my other grille and that was such an easy mod I may revert back, depends how each one looks if I can get hold of a TRD kit the original grille was blacked out simply with black insulation tape, and to be fair, it holds very well and is hard to tell how cheap the mod is, and easy to undo and the L badge on the sport grille is one i've removed from a standard centre cap from my old wheels
  7. Small Update: New Grille: Again it has a slight custom mod to make it different...
  8. go to app store and make use of the apps (theres a couple of orange apps too) I get bored of random apps easily and found with previous phones if I stuck an app on, I used it that day and forgot about it so was kind of pointless, I just figured the iphone may not win me over in that respect and is a lot of money, altho I love the browser
  9. IS 16's would be a cheaper option
  10. the lights one is showing a rear bulb is out
  11. if its always flashin it would suggest a fault, but thats the limit of my knowledge
  12. I noticed when my headlights aren't switched on, ie off completely or just sidelights, if I flash my high beam the headlight main beam comes on too, is this normal? i've never noiced it before
  13. I got a 2 button and 3 button cut and with transponders for £40 but I did wait around for cheap ones £45 isn't bad really tho
  14. if u use talcum powder or similar on the boot seal thing i think this stops it sticking altogether, shudn't need much My boot opens halfway when i use the button on the key, it did on my last IS too, I thought maybe it wouldn't on my new one being that theres the extra weight of the spoiler on (albeit not very heavy on its own) but it does still go up unaided
  15. depends if your good with ur hands, easier without the grille on tho
  16. Grilles are always appearing on ebay, where yours has 4 bars there's a newer 3 bar one which is darker, and the black LE grille and the sport grille too, I have the standard 3 bar grille on mine but without the chrome edge, mines black round the edge, a nice subtle difference
  17. i'm sure its been covered before and i read that the mileage was stored on the cluster, NOT the ECU
  18. i'm interested in how well the kit will fit since its fibreglass and my last one was a very very poor fit
  19. I also echo Lexyniks thoughts, the rear lights I think depend on the colour of the car, i'm sure for example newer dark models can still have the original chrome rear lights from the factory, i'd only question the rear lights if they were odd and i've come across this on several occasions for me no service history is no sale, get one that ticks ALL the boxes, even tho these cars are relatively cheap now, theres loads to choose from and a few grand is still a lot if you get the wrong one, be patient, you'll find the right one if u look enough
  20. one of your brake bulbs needs replacing, or may be just loose, check them, that should solve the handbrake light, as for the locking, just check all doors boot bonnet are closed properly, the car tries to lock and unlocks if something isn't closed properly
  21. u have either a loose brake light bulb or one has gone altogether and needs replacing, thats all, the fact that it is happening since changing pads i think is just coincidence, just check ur brake bulbs
  22. depends where you live tho, my Dad's jeep is on the drive and he's only had it since August, if yours isn't on your drive, what about where you work?
