I second Kam05's post, I bought a replacement for my last IS and used it all the time and kept the original as the spare, never faulted the replacement, for my current IS I bought a 3 and a 2 button and again both are fine, one was from uk and one from over seas, and that one took aaaaaaages to arrive now programming took me a couple of attempts, but I did get there in the end, so if you follow one of the online guides and it doesn't work, try again :D

that cream wasn't the original for that car, notice the already black carpets and glove box etc looks good tho, much better than standard

it is held on by a clip on each end on the top with plastic screws which go thru the bumper too, and a screw goes thru the middle hole on the top, and along the bottom it clips in to the bumper in 3 places, each end again and in the centre, so the one broken clip is very minor, it'll probably still sit straight when fitted and the remaining places where it clips into place are more than enough to keep it securely

you have a faulty optical cable thats all, dunno how big a fix is required, but the car is only 2 years old, see if Lex will repair under warranty as it seems fairly common

open the boot and send a small child thru the ski hatch in the rear seat

sport grill is optional even on sport model

all uk IS3 are auto, my mpg ain't bad tho... insurance was a bit of a hike when I upgraded, but hopefully i'll get that down again this time

plenty of decent ones available for that sort of money from what i've seen, my brother's gf is after one but with a lesser budget

theres a red IS in my area with a black sport grille, doesn't look bad at all

does it stay that high even when its been runnin for a bit? my IS3 idles near 2 but settles to below one when warm

i'd reset the ecu and drive carefully (not that you don't already) as I had a 200 auto and only did short journeys and still got mid 20's mpg, r u due a service? is there unnecessary weight in the car at all? stuff in the boot? do u drive in a lower gear than u need to? also whats your tyre pressure like? all these are factors that affect mpg that people sometimes overlook my 300 does give me better mpg than the 200, I put it down to the extra gear mainly, as I think my 200 sat in 3rd gear at 30 and only went to 4th at around 40, but my 300 seems to be in a higher gear at 30 thus keeping the revs lower, I find much better mpg in the 300 on the m-way than the 200 too

does anyone know much about customs charges, I want to buy a watch from the states and its about £35 delivered, the item value is about £25 without delivery, i'm not sure what the customs charges will be and I can't have it sent as a gift, can anyone tell me roughly what i'd expect to pay on top, and how do you pay customs charges?

Ok no major changes but the weather was nice and the car was clean so I took some new pics, theres now dark side repeaters, darker than I expected, don't really go with the normal headlights but as the windows are dark it looks ok I think: Exhaust could do with bringing up to a shine, Autosol is on the shopping list...

I know everyone says its the TRD one, but is it actually TRD? cos when I took mine in for repair they just referred to it as the Sport kit, I kind of got the impression that its as described in the earlier post, just the OEM Lexus kit

if you do go for darker wheels, might I suggest dark side repeaters too?

I think the delay in gear change could be less when you put your foot down, doesn't change quite as quickly as i'd like it too, but EVERYTHING about my 300 makes me smile more than my 200

it looks like a genuine sport grille, but the sport grille was an option, even on the sport, you may just have a standard grille

i'm guessing no more mods planed since its up for sale...?

i dunno much about the auto levelling, apart from when u turn the electrics on the lamps auto level whether the bulbs are switched on or not, so I imagine if there is a fault causing the dash light to come on, it would come on even if ur headlights arent switched on, so that part is normal, thats as far as my knowledge stretches as for the cause of the error, I dunno, sorry

I believe it is possible, the auto has a stalk on the steering wheel for cruise control, I believe one or 2 members have the steering wheel from an auto on their manual car, and have made it so the cruise control stalk controls the stereo, I assume this is aftermarket stereos tho
