  1. I just sold a new spare wheel with a dunlop sport with 6mm for £100, spares from the dealers are only worth it if the car is still a new £25k model lol
  2. Good idea. Do you need to pop out the mirror glass to get to it? yes, but it does just pop out easily, altho don't know if best to pop out from close to the door or the outer edge first, i'm not sure if there are screws or clips holding the actual cover on, the old ones (before 02 i think) had a couple of screws, and the newer ones had clips, but I dunno if there were any screws too on the newer ones
  3. jesus *****, keep ya pants on. you've been answered above you may want to swap ur pram for a car you want my car dont you answer me maggit i'll answer you, no I don't want your car, happy with mine, don't like the grille on yours u happy now?
  4. his car has 17's on rather than the 16's they normally have, theres always 17's on ebay induvidually and as theres quite a few they are normally quite cheap
  5. that is on the assumption that the 2004 one will fit straight in in place of the older vents and tray?? dunno if the clips are different on those ones, but thats the one I want rather than the one that just goes on top
  6. generally no, they pop up on ebay when someone is breakin a car with one, but normally once someone has got one they keep it they tend to go for £100 to £150 i think on ebay
  7. might not get the same discount tho, if a set is needed, the buyers could sort out splitting afterwards, since the parts I imagine will be packaged, a courier shouldn't be too much of a hassle to sort out for forwarding bits on
  8. I would disconnect the battery for a few mins to reset the ECU, then see how you get on after just normal driving, i'm no expert with diagnostics and stuff but I assume (thinkin logically) if theres no lights on that shouldn't be then would a reader bring up any fault codes?
  9. That wasn't called the "limited edition" though :P yes it was, and it was actually limited to 50 or so cars one per dealer iirc
  10. they pop up on ebay usa from time to time for about £60, the 2004 onwards models without Sat Nav came with a better looking one, I keep trying breakers for those ones
  11. typical, I only need a rear lip lol, so if this goes ahead and someone already has a rear lip give me a shout :D
  12. glad all is ok, but since the IS is known for uneven tyre wear on the inner edges it is very wise to check them regularly and especially before every long journey
  13. Yep they definitely fit as cars with the styling kit alloys had an 18" spare - it's only marginally bigger than the 17" ones though so it'll probably just be a little bit tighter. No it does not. At least it did not on mine. So I am left with a fully refurbished 18" wheel rim which I am unable to make use of. did the styling kit cars definitely have an 18" spare then?? i'm hopin Mars has either a bigger profile tyre on and doesn't realise or hasn't tried hard enough to put it in the wheel well
  14. Cheers, might as well get that sorted too then
  15. while we are on this subject, will an 18 with a 225/40 on it fit in where the 215/45/17, whats the overall size difference?
  16. Type A look like the ones from the 16's on the S model I HAVE A LITTLE 'L' SPARE, PM ME YOUR ADDRESS I kept my centre caps when I sold my old wheels, as I used one of the little L's on my sport grille (which also fell off when I bumped it, but I have at least 2 left so u can have one
  17. breakers again D6NGR lol, i'm off to my local breakers again very soon, i'll see if they have any
