  1. imo the standard "flat" spoiler and boot is worth more... i'd offer a straight swap if the Altezza black paint code was 2O2 it might be worth checking an Altezza forum too as i think the high spoilers are more common to these (even tho its just an aftermarket part) i'm only going off what i've seen in the past tho
  2. nah mine was a minor bump, and i'd be lyin if even with a dented bonnet, i said my car didn't make me smile every time i got in it, all those extras as standard, is there a car for the money that comes close?
  3. until they crash them :( maybe thats just me tho, once I get a bonnet i'll be smiling again big time
  4. cheers mate that looks much better! brand spanking! cheers guys I think thats the silver one not the grey one, but if you get it cheap enough....
  5. no, just tidied the front up a little, still lookin for one locally as its a hassle to get one sent looks like this now:
  6. it is, and u didn't really just say Sick did you?!
  7. indicating or not, it seems the other car has started a manouvre without checking for oncoming traffic, still well worth arguing
  8. unlucky, i'm hoping your witness is a reliable one and gives a decent statement, ur premiums may increase next time as its another statistic for insurers, altho if all goes well u'll keep your no claims, if it was just a case of u hit the car in front then it would be clear cut and u would be at fault, but since this guy pulled over and then moved into your way then thats a good point to argue I nearly hit a bin lorry who pulled over to the left and then swung to the right with no indication and clearly no usage of mirrors, he was doing it to reverse into the side road on our left, I had no time to stop and just went round him on the path looks very similar to the damage to mine that i did recently, I managed to straighten the bar out actually quite well where the bonnet catch is, but will try and acquire another, also had the bonnet off and stood on it from the underside to straighten it out (see link below) I will have to get another bonnet tho http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=68352&view=findpost&p=730900
  9. theres one of those wheels in dark grey on ebay at the moment for £75 buy it now with tyre
  10. without sounding patronising, have u given it a jiggle or tried pushing it in a bit before turning?
  11. join the queue lol, i'm after the same, u had a bump?
  12. need a bonnet to fit them to first lol, i'm not too fussed about fitting them tho as I may go down the carbon route so these may be no good
  13. I have a pair of those but no brackets lol
  14. the ecu can be reset by disconnecting the car battery for a few mins, i'd try that first
  15. update, cash is tight at the mo with insurance and tax last month, paid insurance in full so that was a chunk of money gone, my priority was sorting the other car out, covered the cost to the other driver and have a signed witnessed hand written letter relieving me of further cost or action as for my car, bodge job for the time being while I recover some costs, lol, taken the bonnet off and flattened it back out at the front, so now it just has a couple of dents at the front on top and isn't 100% straight, but certainly driveable now without getting too much attention, checked to make sure everything is straight under the bonnet (99%), sold the damaged sport grille as its cheaper to replace than repair, plus the standard grille rather than the red sport grille makes the damage less noticable, LE grille is on ebay as it could do with a re-spray and i'd just rather have the cash for a bonnet i've recovered about £80 from stuff I didn't need so the only expense will be minor repairs to the bumper, and spraying it along with a bonnet, however i'll get the lip fitted at the same time Before: After:
  16. i'll update my other thread ;)
  17. depends on how much you skim alloys and how thick the centre is in the first place, it can compromise the strength of the rim, Ormi has the same fitting wheels as me but his tyre size is different to allow more clearance between the tyre and the arches, and his is lowered, he has no issues
  18. I feel it just looks to much like most other modern cars, nothing special about it
  19. they've left a part off tho, there should be a little cubby hole, half the size of the normal one, as it replaces the normal one, other than that, looks like a bargain to me
  20. little update, today I has a 225/40 18 fitted to my TTE Grand Prix alloy, and it fits in the spare wheel well, and whats more, it went in easily
  21. i've got 18x8 et35 with no rubbing, 225/40 18, but on standard springs, they do sit slightly further out than is ideal, but no issues
  22. also hows the level on your p/s fluid
  23. before its closed i'd like to say that I think THE BEAST is a proper knob :D Cheers immature i know but sometimes its easier than thinking of a more constructive reply
