  1. Nice picture ! The car's not bad either
  2. Congratulations to you, your wife and new addition!
  3. Those look correct to me.
  4. It's a real shame as the original 8-series was a very unique looking car. This just looks like......... another BMW
  5. I take it you're not so imaginative as Fiat's from that generation and refusing to start go hand in hand, whatever the weather
  6. I'm not sure if it has ACC and PCS, but if it does then it is fully spec'd, so at the price and mileage i'd say it's an OK price, particularly as you can probably knock them down a bit. Obviously there seems to be some rumours which i'm not privy to, so i'd say it's like all cars buy on condition. # I like the colour combination of the stone interior and red paint.
  7. You know these all as true facts and would bet the life of your first born on them being true?
  8. No, small changes are often more frequent than that and in the case of hardware can often be due to potential cost savings.
  9. Nice, spec and nice price.
  10. Had me checking the Lexus website there as Sudbury is very close to me and was hopeful of another dealer nearby 😄 I hope he is very pleased with his purchase !
  11. How do you know this? Do you go back and check?
  12. LOL...sorry I don't have any pictures of them fitted. I bought them from here https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-OEM-Factory-Illuminated-Door-Sills-2pc-set-2015-2018-RC350-RC-F-/231912833808?hash=item35ff150310 no way I would pay UK dealer prices for something so aesthetic. There are no plugs, and although I loathe the things, they actually use Scotch-Lok connectors to tap into the current wires. It's probably the one time where Scoth-Lok's are appropriate because you can then remove easily enough.
  13. Before I vote, are Lexus illuminated door sills classed as a modification or an accessory ?
  14. That's a part of the wiring loom, not a pipe.
  15. The latest Mazda's do this. Not sure it will be possible on the IS as the system's not designed that way.
  16. I thought GS-F wheels were the same as RCF Carbon ?
  17. See this picture sums it up for me............. Just looks the same as every other BMW on the road. Yes, I know that is a bit of a sweeping statement and obviously there are subtle differences, but if Joe Bloe drives past at 40mph they would just ignore it and pass it off as a BMW. Would they think the same if they drove past an RCF or LC ? I don't want a car that shouts from the rooftops but I do want something that looks a little different and has the styling cue's to indicate it's performance. Obviously the M performance is impressive, but it's like a lot of German car designs at the moment..............they are too scared to try something different. (i8 excepted).
  18. I knew you could be relied upon As for the aesthetics on the carbon I share the same viewpoint as a lot of others, doesn't appeal. Also I have no idea why that blue on the front seats wasn't carried onto the rears. Maybe it was the same interior designer on this who worked on the mish-mash LC interiors. @Cezar B you have a good point there for those of us with blue cars.
  19. So if somebody buys the non-carbon version and then decides to fit an aftermarket carbon spoiler or bonnet, which in some cases (admittedly not all) are as good if not better than OEM then what is the difference to one which shipped from the factory like that? I absolutely agre each to their own and there are more badly (IMO) modified cars out there than good ones, but some viewpoints are hard to fathom.
  20. What no pictures from inside the hatch to see if it has a spare wheel ?
  21. This would be the crux of the problem. Imagine when BMW said they were going to launch M specialist centres how many dealerships would have been interested in the additional revenue stream. Now imagine Lexus saying the same to their dealerships 😞
  22. Me Too ! I did look at Vantages before buying my RCF, but the number of significant repairs (driveline) put me off somewhat. Lovely cars but I really do not want that kind of headache, when there is an option not to.
  23. Yeah, but there's a lack of attention from others if you engage brain first, or God forbid go to the dealership first, so better to post on the Internet !
