  1. It won't be possible unless the LED's are wired up individually. I suspect in older implementations of LED lights that all are wired in parallel.
  2. Of course it won't it's just an ECU, which can either be replaced or piggy backed on to. Now will you see any gains? Well that's another matter entirely.
  3. I would view this car and buy or walk away based on the facts. As said above it's most likely a motorway car (ex-company car i suspect considering the spec) which means it should be high mileage with minimal wear. Even if you needed to re-spray the front bumper, and that colour is not the hardest to match, then at that price it would still be a cheap buy.
  4. Not everybody wants to drive around with kerbed wheels like you.
  5. Yep, looks good. As you say a little expensive but worth it if they do a good job and make you happy :)
  6. It's not necessary to go to a main stealer to keep the warranty. Lebon - You will get as many different answers to this question as the day is long.
  7. As it says, that is only an optimisation update, it doesn't update the maps themselves.
  8. Even if they spray the whole wheel it's still only a days work.
  9. Brake dust doesn't know if your car is old or not, neither does the road salt. Give your wheels a good coat of a wheel protectant (I use one by Poor Boys) every so often and you'll have no issues.
  10. Just have a look under the bonnet and see if there are any wires going onto the top of the suspension struts.
  11. That TRD kit/parts are available and also a few choices regarding lowering springs. Best to look on the US forum as hardly anybody on here seems to modify their third gen cars. They may not have the IS300h in the US but most cosmetic parts are compatible, and any of the parts that come from Japan will say if they are compatible with IS300h.
  12. Brake dust tends to embed itself in the paintwork if not washed away soon enough. However it is the salt on our roads that mostly corrodes the wheels.
  13. Check out the US forums, there are suppliers over there which do complete kits.
  14. You would still be able to use a piggy back. Try speaking to TDI in Lakeside they have plenty of experience doing this sort of thing. Let us know if you go ahead as I'd be interested to see what gains you get. Better than just speculating.
  15. Only if they ask, and believe me most don't. Bit surprised to see a main dealer trying to sell a car that has been subjected to flooding, there seems to be plenty of stock available so why bother with this one?
  16. Horses for courses, as I also think the GT86 seats are the best I have ever sat in for a production car.
  17. As best I can tell it looks like it's only clipped in.
  18. Thanks for the review, quite interesting as i'm also looking to test drive this engine package sometime. Just one question, was the throttle hesitation still there in Sport(+) modes ?
  19. I'm sure it was many hours, but it does look great
  20. Interesting that the power on the 200t seems to have reduced slightly from 245BHP to 241.
  21. So are you agreeing with me or disagreeing with me? Having different brand tyres on an axle doesn't necessarily mean the car is unsafe(which is the predominant reasons for an MOT) but it does mean you're unlikely to get the best performance from the car. The spec of a tyre extends a lot further than just the size, speed and load rating. Ask yourself why you never see race teams with different OEM tyres on their cars.
  22. You could, but you would be wrong
  23. For best performance the tyres on each axle should be matched.
