Not necessarily unless they have changed the part number, which is one of the reasons for asking whether anybody has a copy of the bulletin. They will most likely just have kept the same part number but all parts built after x date will be of the improved design.

Thanks, I was assuming that the number i've highlighted below was a date code, in which case i'd expect the code to be later than 2015 and more like 2018 as per one of my pumps. But looking at BigRat's picture his is showing as 2014, so maybe they are not date codes at all. Still be interesting to see what is stamped on yours Sean.

So mine was done on Thursday. However I have a suspicion and wonder if a fellow owner could help me by taking pictures of the top of their fuel pumps in the engine bay as per the attached. I doubt it. Your car can also fail the MOT because of worn tyres, I can't imagine for one minute Lexus will start replacing your worn tyres under the MOT coverage. As Andrew said, worn disks will be seen as a consumable.

It sounds like something is more fundamentally wrong than a pairing of the gearbox and ECU if you have so many issues. Do you have a list of the fault codes? I'm assuming the fluid level has been checked after moving the shifter through all the gears as well.

150miles each way, twice. Travelled from Essex to Lexus Derby and was glad I did. Here's a tip...... If you use water from a water butt to wash your car it won't leave water marks, or you can invest in a filter to fit on your mains connection. IMO....black is nearly always the nicest colour for most cars, but yes it does take more cleaning to keep it looking good. Enjoy your new car @200h !

I'm sorry but why should you let some tea leaf influence what type of car you choose to own? It's bad enough that they already influence your decision partially by the increase in insurance premiums for some cars, but to also allow them to affect your purchase choice because there is a higher probability they may choose to steal the car you wish to drive over another is ludicrous. How far do you take this decision, do you end up choosing a Mondeo over a Mazda 6 because even though they are the same car the Mazda6 is more desirable to tea leaf's ? Don't forget you only tend to hear about all the cars which are stolen, not the hundreds which aren't, and out of all those which are stolen how many are actually aggrivated ? Life can be short, so why let some scum dictate what you do with it.
