  1. Yes, but those articles won't have your unique translation of the principles.
  2. This has made for very funny lunch time reading. Maybe Noby you can explain the principles of 'inertia' to us uneducated ones.
  3. That can be done in Carista or Techstream as well.
  4. Which touch up are you using Sean? I have the Lexus ones which are not a great match.
  5. @Bluethunder Congratulations on your new purchase. 😎
  6. Nah, I actually voted for the stickies as I don't have an issue with them.
  7. That is extortionate. I'd tell them that if they insist on charging such an amount you will be leaving them come renewal time.
  8. Dav - Believe me it's not a major annoyance, but it has made me think twice about joining the carbon appreciation club
  9. The horn on the suspension turret in that picture I suspect is an additional one for the alarm.
  10. Sticky threads seem to be a consequence of car forums\clubs which do not have proper web content, which is a lot of clubs in this age of social media. Maybe it would be possible to have an FAQ sub forum within the F-Forum where these information threads could reside, but let's not do that until Dav has learnt not to quote posts with 101 pictures in them
  11. Keep up the good work Is good to see somebody tackling the nuts and bolts on a Lexus forum.
  12. You are letting your countrymen down !!! No socks with those sandals
  13. This is interesting. I've heard of EK Kanoo Racing, but didn't realise they were actually a Lexus dealer. I suspect they underwrite the warranty themselves.
  14. But that is no fun for Linas 😂
  15. Yeah agreed, although having back to your original invoice value (rather than current market price) is a nice benefit. But hopefully you never need it!
  16. Some details attached for those of you with damage to the CF parts. B-4103R_IR.pdf
  17. You know what's more annoying.......... People who quote a whole post with multiple pictures in and then make a one line comment. WTF do I need to scroll past the whole post again when I've already read it once. It just runs down the batteries in my mouse quicker <\rant mode=off>
  18. This is all very well but don't forget you paid your insurance premium in good faith (most likely provided an estimated value as well) only to have the insurance company play games with you when you had the misfortune to request the service you were paying for. When people have such a severe accident that a write-off occurs its most likely an emotional time and also a lot of inconvenience, therefore once an offer is made I suspect most customers accept it. I'm sure the insurance companies have a wealth of data that shows that this practice works and saves them lots of money, hence why they keep doing it. In my own case it took me nearly five months to receive a fair offer, only after referring to the Ombudsman, and all that time my car was in limbo. Never again, hence why my P&J is now covered on an agreed value policy.
  19. Unless of course they need four doors 😉
  20. Not at Lexus prices it's not ! As Rayaans said, there are a lot cheaper options out there, from just as reputable províders. Myself I have a policy with ALA Congratulations BlueThunder, don't forget the obligatory pics once you've collected her.
  21. I'm curious, how did you get your car to the dealers if the main ECU fuse blew?
  22. Thanks Colin, So both of my 'new' pumps have part numbers 23221-38080 and 23221-38090 so I will assume that they were both changed. As if you couldn't guess I have a great distrust of garages which is why i do nearly all work myself. Unfortunately when there is a warranty to maintain there is little choice.
