did the wheels come with the tyres for your car or another one?

Interesting developments in the luxury car sector!

The fact that they have put so many parts of the car together under one button is remarkable. The new 740i will actually be a 3.0 litre twin turbo six making 326bhp (which sounds almost spot on to the Supra TT engine). Interesting how they are going to a turbocharged six cylinder engine in a 7 series when luxury cars are usually found with V8s. I wonder how customers will feel knowing their 7 series is turbocharged. What do you guys think??

Hi today i noticed that when i use my clutch you can hear a squeek coming from under the car. where and how can i lube this so it goes away or is it a sign of something worn. or could it just be the actual pedal. any help would bbe appreciated as always guys.

I have the same, heard it when I drove with the music off so I could listen to the car ( I do this every now and again) It only happens some of the time and from what I have gathered its nothing major so I just live with it.

Haha Abbas thats exactly how i noticed mine, just cant get enough of the engine sound. ;)

engine does sound so sweet!. had this on astra took a magnex to take my mind off it. i noticed a sqeek when i 1st got mine as well but only just remembered reading this post!! has anyone noticed the engine sounds even better with the aircon switched on? kinda growlier- i only have oem tailpipes

the difference is when the tyres are fitted. asymetrical tyres can run properly clockwise or anticlockwise. when you look at the tyres fitted to the right and left wheels they tread patterns will not be symetrical

a rough look would be asymetrical= <(( left tyre <(( right tyre

normal symetrical tyre= <)) left tyre ((> right tyre

so re050's can only be mounted on the rim one way and will be marked inner and outer. re050A's will not be marked inner and outer so can be mounted either to run clockwise or anticlockwise.

asymetrical tyres always look a bit odd to me as if theyve been fitted wrong but the advantage is they can then be mounted on any corner of a car.

ta chaps. would never of thort of milton. cant understand why this has happened cos i always put screenwash and water in there. any ways. whats the best way of draining the milton? am thinking up threw the passenger wheel arch to detach a pipe?????

seems to me if they busy they busy. if everybody turned up at 2pm wanting to transfer money by 2.30 then it would still be a matter of waiting your turn? dont matter what bank ya go to they always gonna have other customers. if ya made an appointment then yes i could understand not wanting to wait about. my bank is always heaving with Q's too! sod's law innit. another thing is the kiosks are always all open when theres no Q's but when there are Q's theres like 2 kiosks open then ya have to wait for the little arrow to flash n buzz then you can be prodded forward to a kiosk where ya get fleeced like a sheep- sheep shearing the sheep! still at least ya banks still got ya money unlike barings a few years back!!!

sounds similar to a prob had with mine. turned out to be 2 coil pax. also changed plugs at same time.

if its a coil pack or spark plug the manifold temperature will be way down on that particular cylinder compared to the rest. i had 2 coils fail on my engine and this how it was diagnosed. similar symptoms with the trc and engine light. coils are not cheap to buy- be warned!!! :tsktsk:
