    As the title says, wanted drivers side door mirror, must be electric, anti glare.

    Could be a whole host of things, my suggestion would be to take the car to a good rolling road/engine mapper and see what they suggest. Welcome to the club.

    I have just picked up a great set of 18" Borbet TTE alloy wheels for my Sportcross (inc centre caps and locking key) and I'm looking at suitable tyre sizes, I'm thinking 225/40/18 on all four corners, would they work without issues, the car has standard suspension/no mods?

    Many thanks Rick, out of interest what are tuner style nuts? With 225/40/18 all round I wouldn't get any rubbing/clearance issues?

    A long while ago I posted about tyre size choices for GS Sport Borbet TTE alloys on a IS300 Sportcross but despite searching I can't find the post/answers. To update: I have now picked up a great set including centre caps and key, after looking for almost two years. All four alloys are all the smaller, non staggered size. Two questions. I'm looking into suitable tyre sizes and was wondering if 225/40/18 would fit without issues or would 225/35/18 be better, I have standard suspension? Secondly, what size & type of wheel nuts do I need to order? Topic heading should read: GS Sport/Borbet TTE 18" Alloy Query

    I take it that quote was from Lexus William? At £250 quid I think I'll be taking another look around for a second hand item :eerrrmm: Hope you get something sorted for your MOT.

    Hi Andy and welcome to the club. Aside from the users manual which will tell you all about the cars features you could search ebay for an original IS200 brochure which should give you the specs of the car including the sport.

    Thanks Brian. Have tried a few people breaking IS's but so far the costs are prohibitive to simply try and have a go myself, the cheapest is £75 plus P+P (for the whole door mirror unit). I would rather replace it with like for like rather than just an ordinary mirror so the search continues. Will give Lexus a ring and check prices in the meantime, sitting down with a stiff drink in hand of course!

    Many thanks indeed Brain for your comprehensive and helpful reply. At least I know what options I can choose from. As mentioned I will probably order the part from Lexus and get them to fit it at my next service as I don't fancy buggering up a brand new and expensive replacement mirror.

    Many thanks Yuen and Chris..... Looks like a new one will have to be ordered regardless, I might just order one when it's service is due later in the year and get Lexus to fit it, don't think it's cheap to buy either

    My drivers door mirror has some blueish (water) ingress at the bottom, I'm guessing water has penetrated the laminate. A couple of questions as I want to replace it: Is it a heated mirror and how is the mirror removed from it's housing?
