Ok just a quick question if anyone knows which of the factory wires can be used for power and ACC. I have the model with the external amp. I looked at the wiring diagrams for the IS300 which are the only ones i could find, but the wires are different Just need to know which to colour wires i can use. I have acc power but when i press the ON button on the New HU the lights just flicker on for a sec and then off. Can i power the HU straight off the battery? If anyone has any Altezza specific wiring diagrams can they stick them up please. So found this diagram but its for a 2002 IS300. Does anyone know if the wiring is the same? I think the 3 cables i need are highlighted in red in the below pic. Can anyone verify this for me? Thanks

not sure what ftw means. RPG games are better on PC for sure, graphics and controls wise. Racing games not so, a lot better on consoles. Nothing beats playing a bit of 360 on a 42 in Samsung LCD! Makes such an improvemnt over standard tv's. Thats what the 360 was designed to be played on :D

Hi mat if your last post was directed at me, no never owned a LS400. My Rs200 is my first Lex. No idea what you mean by the headlight sprays.

Ye wasnt a fan of PGR3c either. TDU is a good fill the gap game between now and when NFS Carbon comes out.

I wanna play that game, is it any good, graphix look amazing, just dont wanna get a 360 waiting as most ppl are for the PS3 if it ever comes out only bought the game a week ago but its very addictive. Sure the ps3 wont probably come out for another year! Fill the gap with a 360! get on on ebay cheap id say

Sorry mat just curious what you want to do? Are you trying to find a factory wire you can use on the HU wiring to connect the "remote amp on" wire from the aftermarket amp? What i did with mine was use a multimeter, Turn your key to the acc position then test which wire gives out 12volts with the multimeter. You can buy these little connector blocks that clip onto existing wiring so you dont have to cut any wires(forget the name of the connector(i check my previous posts), Then run the remote amp to your amp. If this is not what your after... ignore my rant! :shutit:

Ye i guessed right paint code can br found under the bonnet on this bit: The Its the 3 digit code under where it says colour Cheers

look here for info on tyre pressure. Paint i dunno. Might be a paint code on the chassis number plate near the battery under the bonnet

Go here, click on the ARRC logo at the top then pick your car model. Has wiring diagrams for most electrics in the car

Hi guys i noticed a leak under my car after i came back from a short trip. Its coming out from the middle of the car behind the front wheels near the gearbox i think. I took some pics with my camera phone but they are pretty ***** quality, but they might be helpful to someone. I take some better pics tomorrow when i get home. Its a clear fluid hopefully it only water, but its been dry all day. No warning lights or whistles going off.

Duh never thought of that! so would i need to modify the factory monitor housing to fit this screen, or would i have to modify the new screen?

Thinking of sticking a car PC into my rs just have a few questions 1.Thinking of getting this 7 inch touchscreen. Can this be mounted in the existing factory GPS screen housing? 2. Was going to base the system on a laptop. How would i switch between music from the HU and laptop?(Aftermarket HU fitted) 3. How would i connect the laptop to the sound system in the car? Im sure i can figure these out once i got started but would just like to know these few in advance. Cheers

There should be 3 screws holding the speedometer plastic surround on. 2 at the top and one low down underneath the ignition. This U-shaped piece comes off revealing more screws that hold the speedometer to the dash, remove these then the speedometer should come out. Make sure you tilt down your steering wheel to the lowest position to make it easier to remove. There is 2 connections going into the back of the unit that you need to disconnect. Then take the unit out and replace the blown bulb

Thanks for the advice Noel, I have standard ARB's at the mo, cant find a decent price for TRD ones. But are the eibach lowering springs stiffer? Or would i just be better off saving up for a set of coilovers and ARB's? The turbo can wait till i get the bonus in Janurary!

They already have, mine IS insured as an RS200. Im paying 2100 which aint too bad considering im 24 and driving just over a year! My uncles place said to get it insured as an IS but from past experiences i decided to get it insured for what it is. Do you have yours insured as an IS or RS Noel?
