    Not sure Noel, dont know many places down the sticks! was going to buy it online then try get someone to fit it. Any idea how much for fitting and dyno'ed?

    IMO the camcon is 1 of the best bang for buck mods you can do, yeah you have to pay for dyno time but your gonna have to do that with any ecu up-grade your spend a similar amount of cash on a new exhaust/induction kit and only get a few extra Hp if your lucky the main thing with the camcon is you get more torques as you can adjust cam positions and at the end of the day torques are what your looking for!!!!, as this is what plants you in the back of your seat not Hp So trying to install it myself would be a big NO NO?! Have to try and find someone over here that could do it so, not looking good!

    Ok that clears things up a bit. So Stav the cables you say are for power and earth? As far as i know the power and earth should be incoporated into the ISO conenctor that goes onto the HU

    Ok now im confused, so the wire i chopped up doesnt need to be used with this new wire? Heres a pic of which one i cut hope you can make sense of the mess. so the new wire has an ISO type connector on one end which connects to the new HU and the other ends connects to........???

    Im not using the factory speaker cable, I cut off the connector because i thought it would be easier to connect up the new HU. Does this mean that i wont be able to use this wire? Not sure if im am using the factory amp. If i am im only using the power wires

    Ok i sort of messed up my install last night and getting loads of interference through all the speakers now! So a few questions about this wire. Are you plugging it into the amp and then the headubit or from the panel beside the passenger side fuse box where the amp is plugged into. I have the sat nav but aint using it. I chopped off the the connector that went into the factory HU to wire in my new HU, wires arent together very securely so this wire should sort things for me. Can you stick up some close up pics of both ends of the wire and where it is plugged in to, Lee? Just wanna make sure this will fit my RS. Cheers

    Still cant find the problem. checked all the earth connections, all seem fine? is there anything elese that could cause the interference?

    So i was going to get a camcon controller but someone told me about the Apexi Neo AFC. Just wanted to get s few opinions on these 2 products, have people heard anything about them? Anyone use them? Ive heard the Neo does everything the camcon does them and more. Heres a link to the NEO: linky

    Ye cables are running seperate to each other. When i rev the engine you can hear it through the speakers. So maybe when i was tidying up the cables one of the earth cables came lose. Ill check it out in the morning, and hopefully its just a loose connection. Cheers Stav

    Hey guys i was just in the middle of hooking my amps back up after a bit of tidying up in the boot. When i turned on the ignition to check everything ok something strange happened. The was noise interference coming through all the speakers and even there with the HU turned on? Both amps still power on fine Anyone have any ideas what i did wrong? blown a fuse? blown an amp? Please help!!

    It could blow them, not sure your better off upgrading speakers when u upgrade HU to get the best sound possible

    To me it just like a wire thats replace the wire that goes into the factory HU so you dont chop it up when adding a new HU. Im sure the rear speakers still wont work properly with a new HU. post up some pics when you r done.
