What about these, i was thinking of a set of these but not sure what finish would suit my car, suggestions??

Can anyone tell me roughly how long it takes for delivery, i know i'll need to add another week for Ireland!

Hi and welcome, as far as i know most of the factory screens don't come with any additional inputs and as far as i know its illegal to have a tv display functioning while driving, unless its a voice gps screen, im sure someone will be along soon to correct me :shutit:

the bulbs or the whole fog light? Any pics of your bumper? Might make things easier to identify what you need

So feed it behind the glove box and then there should be a gap to run it into where the HU is, u might need to pull the plastic dash trim out a bit to fit it through

With just the 2 ten mm bolts removed u should be able to wiggle the connector out from the back of the amp, you can then connect the new wire on, u can leave the amp there, jsut secure it back into place so it doesnt rattle

more likely the HU will damage the speakers, not 100% sure on that though, just replace them with new ones, problem solved!

No bother Dan, You can get those convertors in Halfords, they are made by a company called Autoleads, but this is only needed if your keeping all the factory speakers and just adding and amp and sub. If you do decide to upgrade to a new Headunit, then it is worth while upgrading the speakers too, since your not doing it yourself, it shouldn't be much trouble to a professional. A lot of guys seem to like infinity speakers, i have a mix of InPhase, and Pioneer and am really happy with the result.If your not planning to enter any sound off competitions pioneers are cheap and cheerful. Amps i have a pioneer 4 channel amp running the 4 speakers and InPhase amp running the Sub, have a look in Halfords, they generally have a sound wall with various system set ups. Make sure you dont let on you dont know much or these audio installation guys will take you to the cleaners. Any questions you have ask them here first. SE models have tweeters as standard, not sure if you can re-use these if you upgrade the fronts, im sure someone will be along soon to correct me.

Welcome, parts aren't a problem for the RS200 they are easily available over the net and from Prolex and TDI, i drove a IS200 last week and you can really notice the diiference in performance.

Ok so i returned the headunit to the retailer, they said they will have a look at it and get back to me, so fingers crossed they see the same problems i found!

Ok i've only recently noticed all these interior noises since i have no music at the moment!, When i turn the ignition to ACC i hear a click coming from the passengers side fuse box, when i turn my headlights on i hear a click from the drivers side fuse box. Does this mean i have a fuse blown somewhere or is it supposed to click like that?? Haven't noticed anything not working and checked some fuses so im a bit baffled by this. Any ideas?

Welcome Steve, not trying to ruin your new car dream, but if i were you i would not be looking to buy a Lexus in Ireland. You do not get value for money and after sales service is rather clueless! It depends whether your after an easy drive or something with a bit of performance. I was looking at Lexus prices last week and your looking at 16 grand for a bog standard 99 IS200. If you decided to look at the Toyota Altezza RS200, which is basically the higher spec/higher perfromance version of the IS200, you would get better value for money. The standard Lexus IS200 comes with 153BHP, whereas the RS200 comes with 216BHP. rs200 has better handling and usually a lot more extras. One thing i noticed, that most of the imports dont come with a leather interior. but it can be gotten.

Ye it looks nice and that but for that price you could probably get a full exhaust system and actually add a bit of extra power to your car rather than just a nice lookin noisy quad exhaust system!

Just curious in it possible to relocated the horn located behind the grill? They sort of stand out with the grill i have fitted.
