  1. Yep mines a 99 rs200 and its a bottom loading unit. So should be the same as yours. In Dublin im afraid! Why do you want to keep it? Just replace it with an aftermarket one. ten times better. Does your car have an external amplifier behind the glovebox? if so you wil need a special ISO connector, only place you can get it is on ebay and it costs 100 Euro
  2. ill sell ya mine. no err 3, its the bottom loading one try before you buy! ill show it to ya tomorrow
  3. I just think it takes more time to get accurate results with a tiptronic, and wouldnt be worth his while doing it is there is a queue of 12 cars behind ya! Im sure if you book an hour on your own it can be done Ye I don't actually know any1 with a manual or tiptronic that's got their car rolling roaded lol As you said it probably just takes more time... So who does that leave??? No Dizz they do do cars with manual transmission. so me and you should be fine anyway!!
  4. smoke grey looks good. like the granite sky colour for the IS. i think ill just get the one thats most damaged fixed tomorrow and see how good their workmanship is, then decided whether to get them back to stock or resprayed
  5. I think you can do either but I discarded the cage and head unit surround and used the plastic bits attached to the side/facia adaptor and the surround that came with the facia adaptor. Think it looks much better and is more secure. yep same here only using the plastic stuff that came with the facia adaptor

look here its not the same but will give u a rough idea what to look for linky except on the altezza its at the bottom right of the airbox. IF your really stuck i could meet up with ya tonight and show u exactly
  8. Mines the same nearly spun it coming down the on ramp on the m50 yesterday and i was going straight1 think the standard springs are just not very suitable for irish roads. getting some Tein springs for mine in the new year, that should help. Very jumpy at the rear. im the same came from FWD to RWD so it takes some getting used to to control the back end. A rear strut and uprated ARB's will get it stuck to the road
  9. Cant afford a new set of rims at the moment so i was going to go get them fixed tomorrow. The place im going tomorrow said they can totally restore them to knew or fix them and respray them any colour i want. Has anyone here resprayed their alloys, if so what colour/ finish looks good on the standard wheels??
  10. I just rang up westward engineering there to ask a few questions. Firstly whats the most cars you can take? No more than 15 Will cars with speed limiters need to get the limiter removed? No Will you tiptronic cars be a problem? Wouldn't waste my time with a tiptronic or automatic When can we book a slot? Fully booked up till start of Feburary.
  11. Didnt know it was that much! Thats the bad thing about bringing a car in yourself from japan, You might get it cheaper but them you have to spend another grand or so to get it working in a reliable, NCT passable manner. I got mine fully serviced from the crowd i bought it off before i got so no problems
  12. As far as i know the sat nav box can be removed and the audio system should still work. The only thing that will stop functioning is the sat nav screen, this is powered by the sat nav box If there is no power going to the cd player? Check the fuses for this. Could be a total different story for a GS300 though. Im sure someone will be along soon to correct me
  13. :o What exactly did they do for 1200 Euro? That seems like there was something major wrong with your car or else you got ripped off! Where did you get it done? Edit: sorry just saw your last post now. Still seems a bit steep. Maybe i just got a good deal on mine1
  14. lol It would of course helped if the car had the wheels in the same position as the wheel pics :) Cant make it too easy for you Lee. Challenge!!!
  15. Count me in and one of the lads from work wants to see what his beemer is pushing out
  16. mught be easier to get gold dust on ebay than these boxes!! Once you get one u aint going to sell it. They're great
