Yep your right. I ran my speaker cables through the rubber tubing that connects the door wiring into the the car, however its a biatch to do! I found it easier to run cable from the door into the car rather than the other way around. Use a flexible piece of metal like a coat hanger and wrap your cable around this so you can pull it through. I found it very tricky so be warned!

the stealth box i have is fine, it misses the boot hinges by about 2mm, close fit! If you have the false floor though it wont fit

Thats really weird that they need the VIN number to order them, he must be a bit clueless in that dealership. There is a member on here "mattstheone" He has a parts cd with a list of all products and part numbers, maybe drop him a PM. Tell your dealer its the exact same part needed for a 99 Lexus IS200. If he cant figure that out he shouldnt be working for Lexus

Ye i need a new exhaust too, no idea what exhaust is on mine but its too loud.So is there an exhaust i can get thats sounds good but not too loud??? Will just a new back box do??

Just realised today as i was taking shopping out of the boot that my amp is staying on after the ignition is switched off. So i had a mess around with the different 12v and switched and remote amp connections on the back of the HU, the only way i can seem to set it up results in the following 2 scenarios: 1. The headunit loses all its memory when the ignition switches off, and the amp DOES turn off. 2. The HU keeps all its memory when ignition is turned off but, amp DOESNT turn off. I'm using the ISO lead off ebay,never got any instructions with it. I know there is a few lads here that have the same HU. I know there is a remote system control cable coming out of The HU lead but when i connect the Remote amp wire that goes to the amp to this, the amp doesnt turn turn on. I have to connect it to the spare yellow wire that comes out of the HU lead. Im sure im just doing something simple but i just cant see what.Will leaving the amp powered on run down the battery on me? Any help???

Nice but no chance on Irish roads!!. Dont go any bigger than 18 inch with a 30mm drop or you will be shaking teeth out!!

Welcome , im notsure there is a widely available diagram altezza, there is 1 for the IS200 but its different. Dont think you can get TV working either unless you buy a new tv tuner to suit your region.And sat nav even less likely you can get it working, i could be wrong,just talking from my experience

This one: Pioneer DEH-P55BT Nothing that fancy but it does have Bluetooth phone support built in and all illumination can be changed to match the orange of the IS ive the same,asyou said, nothing too fancy but,its cheap and cheerful!!

OK so i went off do a bit of shopping in the sales. I was minding my girlfriends puppy. I had left him up in the bedroom in his cage, My sub and box was on some shelves, So some how he got out of his cage, knocked the sub box off the shelf and here is the result!! So innocent and cute! and heres the damage the little :tsktsk: did! Obviously it fooked beyond repair so time to get a new one. I was thinking of getting the same one again but thought i might have a shop around to see if there is a better 12" one around for Approx 160 Euro. Anyone have any recommendations??
