    Security?

Yep no alarm or immobiliser on altezzas just central locking. Got an alright alarm + immobiliser fitted for 300 Euro. You can get cliffords from about 450 euro i think, but anyone i know that has one has had problems of some form with it
  3. So it works out a 645 Euro including VAT and delivery to Ireland from TDI, for anyone thats interested in this still
  4. Saw this link on the NZ Altezza site. Maybe an easier option. think its a bolt on kit. No idea about price though linky Click on the Turbo kits(bolt on) link If i could find an irish insurance company that would insure it i would buy one myself!!
  5. Thats racist!!! I going to contact Sky News and report this! :P
  6. Any more pics of yours Mark? Looks very very nice!
  7. or u could use the ipod as an external drive. I know that with my creative zen it can be used as a removeable drive. Depending on the capacity this my take a while. Mine is a 40gb so it could do all in one transfer. Make sure any music u have on the ipod only that u put it onto ur new lappy first
  8. You will need to use the network port. Have a look here this might help. Wehn u connect ur ipod it shouldnt transfer or delete you music. It should prompt you asking you what you would like to do, or else it might just connect to it
  9. I had one like these on my civic! I would nt put it on a Lexus
  10. Thats in Euros, not sure whether thats including Vat or not! Sorry
  11. I think one of the Irish Altezza lads was actually fitting one himself. He was asking about a couple of the wires. I'm not sure hoe he got on or who tuned it though. do u know who Adie?
  12. Quickest way probably to network up the 2 lappys and transfer them across. Not sure what u mean about Ipod, but just install the software on you new Lappy and it the music will still be on your IPOD. To get music form IPOD to lappy just transfer it via USB. ope that helps
  13. Got some of these, They are crap! One blew after a month, the other all the blue tint flaked off. I'd go for the philips too, pricier, but will last
  14. Priced it at 550 + delivery from TDI for anyone thats still interested
  15. I think that the ones in it are just normal plugs. Is the any noticable difference in using the Iridium plugs?
  16. Thanks Kaz, recently fitted an Apexi filter so thats fine. Where would i find the pollen filter? Is that the 1 in the A/C unit? Was palnning on all those visual/fluid check too. Just wanna make sure im not missing anything
  17. Ok lads so ive done nearly 10000km since i got my car in August. Ive been told i should get it a small service done. Im looking for what are the best parts to get, where to get them, locally in Ireland or Internet and how much they will cost roughly? Here's what i think i could manage to do myself: Oil change Oil filter Spark plugs It did get a full service before i bought it including all belts etc. Is there anything else i should do that isn't to hard to do?
  18. When we go doewwn to the rolling road in March ill ask the lads there can they do it for me. Hopefully wont be to pricey. Would it be easy enough to install it yourself, then get some crowd to tune it in? Save a few quid on installation! Also would there be any problems in having an Apexi RSM ans camcon running together?
  19. We still have to confirm times and that but i presume we would need people there about 9am to get things rolling, (pardon the pun :D ) On their website it says there only open 9am - 1pm on Sat so im sure it wont be a full day Ye, normally have to be there's for 9 as far as I remember & usually raps up around 2 but that varies obviously depending on whether there's any 4wds etc Think everyone is a RWD around here

  22. Normally do but it's totally up to the people themselves, some may want to watch & stay for the craic & maybe food after where as others may want to get there's out of the way early cause they've places to be etc Ye hopefully most people hang around till the end, i'd be on for that anyway, Im sure there will be some interesting cars people would like to see, (gsportcars)!
  23. They're a bit strict on the old spectators seen at there's gonna be 15 cars with 2 people in each (approx) so that's alot to be standing around a car gettin dyno'd lol. So best bet is probably to jump in with someone who doesn't have a passenger if possible :winky: We havent got 15 cars yet i think, So Noel you could probably come along, and since yours is a Tip the could try it last. Might not give too accurate results, but you could always try. I doubt everyone will be a passenger so i think we will be ok.
