Your not a gold member so you wont be able to sell it here Id let it go for bout 12000 And you shouldnt really advertise it as 210bhp cause it wouldnt be, a few of us got ours dyno'ed in March and it wasnt 210. Mine got 196bhp with after market exhaust and induction kit. Unless you have dyno figures to back it up

So lads some Maxol garages are starting to sell this bioethanol fuel in Ireland. With a small converter hooked up u can run ur car on 104Ron. Anything smilar too this in UK? Would this make the car run better or worse considering the car is mapped to run on 100Ron? 20cent cheaper per litre too! :D

I can never understand why some people who drive a Lexus would want to put an Altezza badge on it!

If u cut the cable ties the secure the wiring loom onto the amp this gives a bit of extra movement,apart from that small child like hands a useful!! Its just hard to get out!

That why having an original Xbox in the car was an excellent idea as you ran the games off the harddrive, not sure if you can do this with the 360. You cant do it with the 360 the only hacks so far are ones that allow u to play copied games in them

My set up is the same u open the boot and lots of bass. Think it has something to do with the sub box. A ported enclosure generally works better in a saloon car with an enclosed boot. Removing the rear speakers is a good idea, but i have good sounds coming from mine so id prefer to keep them. Opening the ski hatch does help a bit. To get the rears out all the rear seats have to come out and the rear parcel shelf and c pillars. half an hour jobbie if you know what to do. Door cards simply pop off once one or 2 screws are removed and the door lever surround is removed. Both guides are covered in the workshop section

Not lookin for buckets loads of power like urs Adie just enough to surprise most evo and scooby owners!! so about the 300 bhp would do me nicely i think. would like to have the sound of a s/c or dump value under the bonnet and have the power to back it up( not just an electronic device that sounds like i have one --> imyruff!)

By the time you bought and got all those parts fitted and tuned in properly over here u wouldnt be far off the price of the Blitz s/c kit. Not too may tuning places over hear would know what to do with a camcon! The place i got my car dynoe'd advised against the camcon. He said he wouldnt want to go messing with the VVti setting etc, so im sure it would take them a lot of dyno hours to sort it properly.

Something to do with the plastic they used inside i think that the standard bulbs we have wouldnt illuminate it properly, and it has a digital display showing u ur mileage and what gear ur in i think.

unfortunately in Ireland most companies wont insure either and are pretty clueless when it comes to mods! only 2 companies im aware of that do. I was told by Elexes that is getting his turbo'ed that you have to phrase your mods correctly! ie " a bit on my engine broke and i they are no longer producin the factory part needed so i had to replace it twith a turbo system!" I tried the same company and they told me they are no longer insuring high performance cars! Insurance isnt the biggest problem though. Had a read through both guys threads but they seem to e going for mad power figures. All i want is a kit thats reliable, easy to fit and adds some much need low end torque and doesnt require any internal engine mods or expensive transmission mods

I posted this over on TezzaWorld but i thought i would stick it up here too, to try and get some advice! So i have been doing a lot of research this week about adding some extra grunt to my Altezza and have been thinking more about going down the s/c route. The Blitz compressor system works out at 2600 Euro delivered excluding intercooler(still awaiting price from Nengun). But i think ill need to upgrade the clutch and ECU too, to get the most out of it. It seems like the easiest most reliable option, maybe not the most powerful one As for turbo's i was looking at the Trust - Greddy - Turbo Kit - Bolt On, which is about 1600 Euro from Nengun but i think this is without some essentials such as intercooler, ecu and blow off valve. so add all those in for about another grand. And then thinkning about getting these mods insured! You can a call a supercharger a compressor system, but only one thing u can call turbo! So im really just looking for the easiest cheapest way to add a bit more power and still keep the car relatively affordable to run and easy to drive.

I thought the blitz s/c kit came with an upgraded ecu? the one i was looking at on nengun had this i think

Where did u buy it? Maybe bring it back to them. Could be something to do with thermostat maybe. Im only guessing. Lexus in deansgrange said they would service mine before, but i wouldnt say they are cheap

Story Keith, have u made any changes to the engine recently ie induction kit or anything like that? Where abouts in Dublin are you based?
