Just treated myself to a nice set of D2 coilovers today. anyone else have them fitted? If so how are you getting on with them?

I don't need to know but have for a long, long time now :D I've never met you but used to PMSL reading your posts when I first joined. Take it the Anger Management course was a success then i saw these on a car the same blue as mine and they looked horrible! Think it only suits the light coloured cars silver/white etc

so lads going to enter my altezza into a sound competition at Heatwave 2007 which is on in the morning. \never did anything like this before so it will be interesting to see how my audio system does! Anyone have any recommendations on things i should do settings i should use? i kinda play my music loud with 1100 watts of base in the boot, never really played with the amp settings or HU settings properly. any advice would be appreciated!

well i just bought a second set of headlights so ill try put them into them. Im not trying to make it look like a beemer, it just looks different. when people see u from a distance they think beemer.... then they see altezza an flyin past!!!!

Any idea what make it is, the only thing i would be worried about with the cheaper HID kits id how long they would last before something breaks Just make sure you shop around for your kit. The Philips one is supposed to be very good

Plug and play? Do you have a link to them? My kit came on the car, it has to ballasts, one for each light. and there is a lot of extra wiring needed.

So would recommend the D2 coilovers? Thinking of getting them on mine soon but not sure yet? How much have they improved ur handling? Is the increase in handling worth the extra firmness in ride comfort?

Any Lexus/Toyota dealer should sell them, they cost about 350 Euro over here.

Not sure whats included in this kit but i think the only hoses u need are the ones for the radiator. Samco hoses

As far as i know, the IS200 and Altezza exhausts are different from the manifold to the cat back , but i could be wrong, why not just a standard Altezza back box on?

Standard beams engine only pushes out 210 Bhp and thats on 100 Ron Jap fuel which we cant get in Ireland so that will drop power to below 200bhp. I'd love to know what exhaust system gives you an Extra 30bhp!

Anyone know where i can get a good uprated clutch for an Altezza? Maybe s/c mine and want to upgrade the clutch to to handle the extra power. Also, if i want to upgrade the flywheel too, do i need to get one similar to the new clutch ie a TRD clutch should get a TRD flywheel? I dont want to spend a ridiculous amount of money on it, and still want to keep the car as a daily driver. Cheers lads :D
