  1. Pretty much. Got to pick up though. which is a bit far for us. LOL Stav
  2. That looks great mate. Good job. Stav
  3. A Cat 2 is just an immobiliser. Cat 1 is a imobiliser and alarm. (but obviously only when fitted by a qualified person)
  4. Pretty much knackered then mate. If you look about theres a very recent topic where someone butchered theirs and fixed it with some ford focus stereo internals. but your best bets are to get it repaired (£200), buy another (Also about £200) If you'v got an S version buy an after market stereo and adaptor from your local halfords or somewhere. If you've got an SE or Sport then buy the lead off Ebay and an after market stereo. For both youll also need a fascia kit for the new stereo to fit. Look here: Clicky This is a topic i started that explains all. Stav
  5. Is it flashing Err3? If so its knackered i'm afraid mate. If you search the Audio section this has been covered lots and lots of times, and what to do to get music back in your car. Stav
  6. Looks Great mate. Bet you enjoyed the Journey home! Did you manage to find a box for the grill? Stav
  7. The handbrake will only join it to earth anyway. Not sure about this one mate. You got any pictures? Stav

  11. Welcome to LOC. The stereo's are probe to braking best doing a search in the audio section theres plenty of posts on how to replace them with an aftermarket stereo. As for the Speedo there only about ten mph out at around 100. But they are around 10% high as standard. Just the way there built. Anyway enjoy the car mate. Stav
  12. Look great mate. Have to keep it clean though. Stav
  13. There great cars mate. happy driving. Stav
  14. If you read the thread i linked to in your other thread it tells you exactly what you need to simply fit a new headunit and all the bit you'll need. Stav
  15. I don't see why not. Possibly not lower quality ones. And i can't see it causing any problems if you try it either.
  16. The good news is you can pick up a replacement up on Ebay. The bad news is their around £200, and about the same to repair. And it'll probaly break again anyway. The reasonable news is if you look here: Clicky You can get a lead to make it easier to fit an aftermarket headunit. Hope this is helpful. Stav
