Doesn't seem too serious,just a few niggly problems and im sure they can all be sorted with the knowledge the members have on here and if your handy with a set of spanners you might even save a few quid by doing it yourself.

First thing to work on is your name :D ....change it for something like...im alright jack

Check the HT leads,once you start it pull leads off one at a time and if there is no change in RPM...thats the one thats broke down( i think)

The plastic shroud around the inside latch needs to be removed,i think it slides towards the front of the car (cant remember) then the rest just pops off.

True but im guessing that they were exceeding the limit (over 100) and in my book there is no justification what so ever for attempting those speeds on a public highway. If i was the parent of the passenger i would press for damages as i doubt she agreed to be thrown around at warp speeds and being injured in the process.

He was breaking the limit,but by how much? what was the limit for that rd?

On a 30 he broke it by 70mph.........unacceptable im afraid

Has anybody drove at those speeds through a built up area?

My rear fogs on my 200 act as brake lights and has passed MOT for the last 3 years with no problem and when fogs are used as fogs this overrides the brake light effect....does that make sense
